(February 10, 2021, 7:44 pm)They’re currently delivering only because the restaurant is closed but they are still dedicated to their customers. I ordered one night and they were closing soon so I said I’d call back the next day because I didn’t want to be an inconvenience. But the owner insisted on making my food and drove from Maryland to DC to deliver it (AFTER closing). Truly amazing and genuine people. If you’re looking for mouth watering West African food that can compare to your mom’s cooking this place is for you.

(November 7, 2020, 11:51 pm)I’ve been coming here sporadically since I was 16 and Sumah hasn’t failed me once. The food is amazing with just the right amount of flavor and spice. I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT❤️❤️
