Hotel Eleo at the University of Florida

The hotel is beautiful and clean. I love the design. The fountains in the lake are a nice touch as they light up at night. The ladies at check-in were very friendly, and the valet was quick.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom is spacious and also clean. This will be my go-to place when I return to the area.

Our initial impression came from the Valets who welcomed & greeted us with smiles, professionalism, and most importantly, great attitudes.
Then came check in, the “African American woman with the nose ring” who worked the front desk (Mentioned in other review) was amazing and patient as we checked in; as we had questions due to the medical nature of our visit. She answered all of questions; she was very pleasant to work with a great attitude to boost. Let’s not forget Margret, your simple gesture of assisting me while I wheeled my wife up to our room, was amazing!! Thank You!!
The restaurant: My wife and I were immediately welcomed with warm smiles professionalism, and seated promptly. The staff there were amazing, which made our meals all that more enjoyable. We had a lite fare after coming off the road, my wife loved the chicken noodle soup while I enjoyed one of the best French onion soups I’ve had in a long time and to finish off our meal, we thoroughly enjoyed the brownie with ice cream, 😋😋. Their turkey panini is top notch too. Huge shout out to the restaurant staff: Thank you for the amazing service!! Emily, your service was amazing, You’re Awesome!!
Let’s not forget the staff behind the scenes (Housekeeping): They keep that place shining while providing great customer service when interacting with guests!! Thank you house keeping team!!!

To sum it up!! Amazing experience!!! Hotel Eleo will be my got to place for overnight stays in Gainesville!!

This is a gorgeous hotel. The rooms have a cool and unique design with great amenities. The entire hotel is beautifully maintained at a very high level. The night maintenance staff
(Rio/Doug/Ludwig) is top notch and do a terrific job. The location
is perfect and is in a beautiful area.

Wonderful hotel and staff. Beautiful rooms and amazing restaurant. Love the lake views and architecture of the hotel. Very reasonably priced for all the nice features of the hotel. Antoine in particular at the front desk was super nice and valet guys were great as well. Emily in the restaurant was very nice and had great menu suggestions of the Salmon and Pasta with excellent meat sauce. The only unfriendly person was the African American girl at the front desk with the Nose Ring. Other then that we had a 5 star experience.
