Order a cup of soup and bowl of chili. Both were delicious but the serving sizes seemed really small. House salad was fresh and flavorful. Dressing seemed watered down. Server was very busy so was slow to refill drinks but was good otherwise. It was crowded. I would have expected manager and other servers to team up to refill water and beer.
Family visit. Shrimp tacos, spicy chicken pasta and steak. Of course started off with warm chips and salsa. All great tasting.
We went in the middle of a Friday night dinner rush, and we were greeted by a smile from the hostess. All staff we encountered were professional and put together, despite it clearly being very busy. Our server, Kayla, was prompt to greet us, friendly, and answered all of our questions correctly and without hesitation. My friends and I frequent this Chili’s, and both the food and service are always great. I would highly recommend.
Edit: Chili's reached out, and provided Guest Gift cards to compensate for the meal in order to give me a second chance. Based on schedule, I wound up going to a different location which was a day and night different experience. I'm updating the review here to 3 stars, as Chili's made an attempt to make things right. I'll update the review again after my next visit to this SPECIFIC location.
Really strange experience... Been going to Chili's fairly regularly since 2009-2010 as it has one of my favorite entrees around. Tried this location for a simple birthday lunch... Regrettably, the server "Nikki" lied to me repeatedly through the ordering process, and when checking on certain items from our order.
Nikki and another server repeatedly kept taking items off the table without even asking, regardless of if it required them to reach over other food items.
I submitted a formal "concern" comment via their web portal, as the experience was so different from previous Chili's visits.
My question to Chili's if they read this:
Since when is it acceptable to reach over food and take things without asking?
If a request is simple and straight forward, why bother lying?
Its just that. Ok. Food was good but not stellar (chain food.) quick and cheap menu. If your into quick. Its the place.
