Meal in a Pie

My favorite place to go for lunch - the pastries are so flaky and amazing. Love the staff too! They also have neat sauces and candy from South Africa. This place is a treasure.

These are by far the best meat pies I’ve ever had. Everything they sell here is delicious. I love their chocolates and sauces as well! If you’ve never had South African food, this place is perfect. The inside is small and simple with a few seats and a cool little hut-looking counter. The hours are a little weird so be sure to check them before going. Delicious!

This is such a gem! The staff was so nice and helpful. I had the chicken curry and it was delicious. So filling and fresh, especially given the price. I'm from out of state but will definitely be back whenever in Fort Lauderdale.

Wow they know how to make a good meat pie! I had the lamb pasty - very delicious on every level. They have lots packed in a relatively small shop, I wish I could try it all! A few South African drinks to choose from in the fridge as well. I’ll be back to try the other pies and sausage roll!

This was my first time visiting Meal in a Pie and it was a wonderful experience! The girl behind the counter was more than happy to answer all of my questions and make some delicious recommendations. I got a few different meat pies to-go (my favorite was the steak and kidney!) and I loved how buttery and flaky the crust was! I also got some candy treats and a few pantry items. Can't wait to go back and sample more items!
