“My family loves Waffle House. The restaurant is very clean and the service at the Port Charlotte, Florida location is wonderful. Chad was our waiter and he was the best. Chad was quick and courteous with our requests. The food is prepared just a few feet from you, which was a nice experience for my two young sons. They couldn't believe how quickly the cooks prepared the different meals. The food is very good, the service is great and I would highly recommend this restaurant. This was our first time, we ordered the 16" Carnivero (meat lovers) it was not greasy at all which clearly tells me they use premium meats and cheese....very crisp not soggy crust to have so many toppings and the meatball toppings were actual chunks of real homemade meatballs. “The behind the counter staff at this location is by far the best out of all the FiveGuys establishments we've been to, across several States. The food speaks for itself. But it's always nice to actually enjoy placing our order and conversing with the staff while you wait for the order to be completed. They keep the seating area and restrooms very clean. “We were served about an hour before closing time. The deep dish pizza with pepperoni was tasty accompanied with wings from a boneless chicken. I dont know how it walked to be honest with you. Once ready to go, I went on a recon mission to retrieve my check, then pay it. I never saw my waitress again after our food was served. I never got a "how's everything?", "I will leave this check right here with you, there's no hurry", nothing. Such is life. It was noticed that the girls were making final preparations to flee the restaurant after "tipping out". It was ten minutes to nine...closing time. My tip may still be on the table for all I know.”

The restaurant is very clean and the kitchen smells were incredible. Our order was served pretty fast even though the joint was packed. All in all it was a good experience and we'll probably go back to spend our own money.”
