Dan's Clam Stand

Always good food and service. Best New England clam chowder in our area. Always fresh seafood but also haddock and clams. We go at least twice a month.

Always great. Awesome steamers which are clams. Lobster cooked correct and whole belly clam platter was off the chain. Onion rings didn't taste fishy so they use good separate deep fry oil. Owner is around on premises. The server staff are awesome ladies. Attentive and friendly. Best in Citrus county! Thanks for another great meal!

I am giving Dan's claim stand a 3 based on service. They have no menus available online, so we had no idea what was on the menu before we visited. Apart from raw oysters, market price and fried "burger"sandwiches, all seafood is fried. Unfortunately, I can't eat fried food. If you like new England style fried seafood, this is the place for you. For native Floridians used to fresh grilled seafood, probably no so much..

First time going to Dan’s Clam Stand and it was amazing! I got the grouper sandwich and my husband got the snow crab special. I choose green beans for my side and they were fresh and delicious! The service was great, our waitress was Mary and she was very pleasant and checked on us many times. The price is cheap and the quality is amazing. We would definitely come here again next time we are visiting in Florida!

Went there the other night because it looked like a fun place to sit outside, have a few drinks and some good seafood. The seating was fine. The staff very kind and helpful. The food all tasted the same, though. Very heavily breaded, literally all tasting the same. Not sure if we’ll return.
