The Cuban sandwich was absolutely AMAZING, the loaded potato salad was delicious, and her homemade Cinnamon Roll was divine. “This is a favorite local seafood restaurant with a Cajun flair. We went at 3:00 on Saturday and the place was packed. They do not take reservations. I called ahead to see if they had birthday specials and if they would allow me to bring my own cake. They were very accommodating and yes they do have a bread pudding for birthdays. After our meal, they brought the cake out and got the whole restaurant to sing Happy Birthday to my dad who turned 80. The staff provided awesome customer service and the food was delicious and prepared well. I have never had a choice of how I wanted my oysters fried. They give you 3 ways; light, medium, to hard! A big shout out to our waiter Duke! Thank you for your great service! My dad was a happy guy!”

“What a great place. I ended up stopping here because it was the only place I could find that listed the small scallops that the Crystal River area is known for on their menu. It was exactly what you want out of a seafood dive: amazing seafood, at a great price (considering what you're getting). For the reviews that say it's pricey, of course it's pricey for a food truck... it's fresh seafood straight from the bay. It's better than some pretentious seafood restaurant that might also have fresh seafood but at four times the price. What more could anyone want then perfectly fresh seafood, cooked wonderfully, on a location where you're sitting on the water outside at picnic tables.”

“Cute little deli and super clean. Staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nice screened back porch for dining, will be nice in the winter months. Bathrooms are out the backdoor porch and around the corner and could use some serious TLC, seemed grungy and run down. Assorted homemade salads and Boar's Head deli meats are sold. I had the Cuban and it was warm, crispy and delicious. I only ate half and they wrapped the other half to take home. I will be back.”

“This restaurant is under new ownership and it shows! The fresh food selection is excellent. I had a large portioned blackened grouper which came with 2 sides. The grouper was seasoned perfectly and was flaky and moist. My husband had the shrimp scampi which comes with a salad and the scampi was a generous portion with large tiger shrimp. All desserts are made in- house and are wonderful. The white chocolate cookies were delicate, soft, and flavorful. The chocolate peanut butter Pie was amazing. I wish I could have tried all the desserts as they were amazing to just look at!! So, if you want to try a "new" place, stop by. The steaks, burgers, and wings looked great!”

“I just noticed this place on doordash so I decided to try it out. I really enjoy shrimp tacos but I have to pass on these. Sauce that was on there way too generously had this weird spicy sweet tanginess that I personally didn't enjoy. I don't know the whole combination of flavors was a bit off to me for a shrimp taco. $10.50 for two tacos is quite a bit. Typically people would get three so that would make it $15.75 for three tacos that also seems like a bit much. It's unfortunate because I do crave some good street tacos but this just wasn't for me. I'm not sure if it was the sauce or the pickled vegetables or the combination of two that really threw me off with the flavors. I don't know but you personally might like it so give it a try and see what see what you think”

“St. John's is a beautifully remodeled pub in Crystal River. They have a full bar and nice menu selection with some healthy options and friendly, attentive staff. The design boasts historic features such as a stunning rooster weather vein on the front roof, exposed brick interior with a custom made bar that must be at least 30 feet long and I believe was built and carved with ornate detailing by the bar's owner. If you come to the area to swim with the manatees, this is a great stop for lunch or dinner.”

“More like 4.5 stars but nothing is perfect. We received excellent service from start to finish. The food was great and only a couple minor issues. The pasta sauce was too thin in its consistency as it should have been heavier and the chicken seemed dry. On the pizza I would say they could use just a tad more sauce in the middle because you couldn't even find any. However all of the delicious toppings made up for that. So for those of you that like sauce ask for a little on the side. All of their toppings for definitely fresh including the jalapenos. The salad wasn't huge but it made up for it in its Style and was quite delicious. I especially loved their bread dipping olive oil. This is one case where different* was actually quite good! Stephanie was friendly, with a smile and did a fantastc job serving and keeping up with our table. I would also like to add because of some of the complaints that I read; that I didn't see anything at all that resembled what people described in their complaints. Not only was the restaurant clean but so were those that work there. I saw no rude behavior and no one on cell phones. Everyone was working hard.”

“We sat outside with our pup and they were very accommodating. Brought our dog a bowl of water right away and took our drink orders immediately. They seemed understaffed with only one server for the whole place but our service was still pretty timely with all things considered. We had fried pickles for the appetizer. They came out quick and were very crisp and tasty. I had some boneless wings which were a good size but the “Hot” which is their second from the hottest was weak but otherwise good. Also, the celery that came with my wings did not look very fresh (pictured) so I passed. My wife had the buffalo chicken wrap and was drenched in sauce, (pictured) too much.”
