My generous portion of seared tuna with seaweed coleslaw was delish. My husband enjoyed his oysters and French fries. Service was friendly and prompt and I loved the whimsical decor. We had a great visit, thank you!
The drinks were delicious! I just had a salad (vegan), but my sister tried alligator there for the first time and loved it!
The server was super friendly and did a great job of explaining the menu.
Everglades city needs this place like it needs colored folks. This is a fresh seafood restaurant which looks modern and absolutely knowledgeable about flavoring ,Presentation and preparation . The chef here was on par with the Florida Keys.
Ordered lump crab cakes , Grouper sandwich (blackened , large cut and loaded with flavors) and (large)shrimp basket. Food was hot with timely delivery to table. Delicious .
Unfortunately not much patronage of the locals to this place ( not sure why) or recommendations from them to it.
Please give them a try ,we did .Pass on the local recommendations you will not regret it...
It was one of the few places still open after an impromptu trip to Fl City. Kitchen closes at 8pm and we arrived at 7:20pm. Our server, Kim, was friendly & attentive from the moment we walked in the door. The menu is pricey but well worth it. The seafood is fresh and the plates are prepared well. We had the shrimp scampi and fried shrimp dinner (basket). Both dishes were amazing but the fried shrimp was in the most delicious buttery breading - so light, airy, and perfect for the shrimp (crisp at 1st bite and tender on the inside). The fries were fat and had good texture. And the angel hair for the Scampi was tender, not tough, and accented with the best sauce.
Stopped here for lunch during our visit to the National Parks and found a beautiful, newly decorated, clean, and open restaurant space with welcoming employees. We enjoyed grilled grouper on fresh and toasted brioche buns. The portions were generous. We tried both the seasoned fries and the onions rings and loved them. I was hoping to try cabbage palm slaw, but the slaw I had was a traditional recipe. Our server Kim, a lifelong Everglades City resident, was super pleasant and helped us with plans for our visit. There is a bar and game room as well. We recommend!
