Came here after the Pensacola Christmas parade since it wasn't as busy and enjoyed it. Randi was our waitress and she was attentive and polite. As for the food, the jambalaya wasn't spicy like I was hoping, but the queso and wings were superb. The best part about this place is the atmosphere and beach views, which is quite beautiful when there's hardly anybody out.
Great food and ambiance. Our server was Reileigh and she was super attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Ordered the blackened fish tacos and gators bites, both were very good, especially the gator which you can tell is fresh. Great little gem!
Food was excellent. Had Mahi bites appetizer . The dipping sauce was really good.
My wife had the blackened Grouper sand which and I had the beer battered . Both were great. Randi, our server, was very attentive and friendly.
Overall awesome experience!
Our night started off on a bad foot with the older hostess. She had a pixie cut, glasses and was wearing shorts. We arrived around 8:05 for a 8:15PM reservation. She told us it’ll be a few min wait for “tables to be cleaned”, cool no big deal. While we waited, about 6 parties after us were taken straight to their tables. Confused, we asked the hostess how much longer and she completely forgot about us despite us standing right there in the shop looking over the menu. It wasn’t busy, TONS of tables available when she walked us around to our table. Poor customer service on her end. Playback the cameras on 9/22/23 at 8:05PM. No apology, nothing.
At the table our server was friendly and quick. We ended up ordering the ribs and steak. My partner ordered the “full” rack of ribs but the server brought out a “half” which is fine. We also wanted to get oysters but they were sold out unfortunately. The pina colada was average but the main entrees were good, similar to food truck style. The fries were very tasty for those avid potato lovers. Overall I would recommend for a good casual lunch despite the hostess incident. I’m going to give her the benefit of the doubt and blame her forgetfulness on old age over the possible race discrimination.
Randi was our server and she was very informative and amazing!! Food was delicious!! We will definitely be back!! We had the coconut mahi nuggets, alligator (with fried pickles) bites, the bbq pork sandwich and fries, salmon entree, plantains, and garden salad. Everything was fresh, tasty, and service was amazing!!!!
