Don Cha Peruvian Food

If I could give Don Cha more than 5 stars, I would. The food was delicious, well portioned and fresh. The service was stellar - Jose, our waiter, explained the things we weren’t sure of, suggested a lovely red ale, and came by often to see how we were enjoying things. All wrapped up in a lovely little building convenient to downtown Pensacola.
We shared a boliyucas con queso (fried mashed yuca croquettas with cheese in the middle) which were served with a delicious dipping sauce. I had the causa con langostinos (mashed potato layers with avocado within, topped with shrimp and a light white sauce (all served cold), and my friend ordered the ceviche de langostino (sooo good), served with avocado slices, sweet potato, and 2 very large tostones. The hot sauces on the side were so full of flavor and just the right amount of heat.
I can’t wait to return to try literally everything on the menu. And hopefully get Jose as our server again. Truly all-star! PS- I left my take-home box on the table on accident, and Jose came out and found me at my car and gave me my box!

The food and the staff are so great! José was our server and does a great job explaining the menu. He has great recommendations and even brought some emoliente for us to try. The food is delicious, We ate Chaufa mixto, Jalea mixta and Pollo Saltado. For Dessert Crema volteada. If you’re looking to try a great Peruvian restaurant this is the place to go, check it out!.

Service was great, & while there's no refills on the sweet tea...it's DEFINITELY worth taking one to go. Organic, refreshing fruit juice sweetened...very different. Food presentation & taste were excellent!!

Why did I sleep on Peruvian food for so long!? Alicia walked us through the menu and recommended dishes based off of our preferences and even had us try dishes we wouldn’t have initially thought to try. She was excellent at explaining ingredients we weren’t familiar with. Literally everything she recommended was FIRE. We can’t wait to go back and try other dishes. Doncha is definitely going to be a part of our go to restaurants from now on.

I’m so excited to have it now in Pensacola. The food is so good I didn’t mind driving an hour each way to the fort Walton branch before they opened this branch in Pensacola. You can’t go wrong with any dish you order here. All of them are delicious. I tried the octopus and Anticuchos on my first visit. I love it! Each dish is a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to preserving the essence of Peruvian flavors.

Beyond the exceptional cuisine, the attentive service and genuine warmth of the staff. Our server I believe his name is Jose Carlos created an inviting dining atmosphere.
