Taylor’s Breakfast and Lunch

Today was the second time my family had breakfast at Taylor's. Slightly expensive but well worth it. Staff is very attentive and professional. Food is amazing with large portions. If you have not eaten here you need too. You won't be disappointed.

The service was fast and friendly. A little crowded but for one person I waited less than 5 minutes. My waiter was on top of my order and I got my food quickly. There isn’t a lot of options for vegans and much of the menu is meat based. However, I ordered the avocado toast and it was perfect and filling. Instead of eggs, I ordered the green salad and I loved the vinaigrette. I’m only taking a star off because I wish there was more options for vegans.

The waitstaff/cooks that brought out the food were really helpful and good service. Food was okay. 4 in our party and two had coffee and thought that it was really good. Chocolate milk appeared to be plain milk with a squirt of syrup. The grits were just okay. The rest of the food was good. Regular eggs, Eggs Benedict. Watch out for the oatmeal pancake -its made with real oatmeal.

Great food and service even when busy. We visited on a Sunday morning around 1000. There was a wait of about 20 min (we were told about 30 min). Even though it was busy we got our food pretty quickly. I had the hiker’s Benedict and I highly recommend it. The vegetables were fresh and crisp and the bacon was perfectly cooked. Wait staff is polite and friendly.

This was my first visit to Taylor's. My hotel isn't doing normal breakfast, so I decided to try something else. I am not sure who my server was, but she was great! Excellent customer service. I also haven't had an omelet before. And the food was amazing! Thank you so much for making my breakfast experience spectacular!
