Joe Mama's Wood Fired Kitchen

Our party of six arrived for lunch on a Thursday and we were seated right away.
Our server Jessica was friendly and attentive and took great care of us.
All three of us couples had a different kind of pizza and they were all great.
I really liked this place and I love that there is a patio that is dog friendly. Definitely recommend and would not hesitate to go back.

We arrived 4th of July weekend. Because of a local turtle festival, most of the other restaurants were closed for lunch, which was fortuitous for us, because we happened to pass Joe Mama's during our search for food. I was immediately in love. The fact that they were playing music outside the restaurant, with a very appealing selection of music, really hooked me; and the beautiful garden outside helped as well. Opening the door and being hit in the face with that wood-fired pizza oven aroma just draws you in. The service was excellent - our hostess was polite and happy to see and seat us. Our waitress was pleasant and polite with a very friendly disposition. But, my favorite part of this experience was the small vase of fresh flowers from the garden. Flowers that have to be replaced every couple days - fresh flowers. The food was enough to make my mouth water, even today just thinking back on it. The cheese is the most important part of the pizza - it ties the flavors together while sauce is on the bass guitar. These guys have excellent cheese. This review might set your hopes pretty high, but I assure you: you won't be disappointed. If I lived closer, I'd be there every weekend.

Quick service, good service, excellent little pizzas that don't take long to arrive. Full bar, easy location with indoor and cover patio seating. Definitely will go back. Sorry for the half eaten pizza in the picture, but it was on front of me and I got carried away.

Lovely atmosphere. Chaz greeted us immediately and seated us. She and AC were our servers and were top notch. Nice selection of craft beers on tap and a decent wine list although they were out of my first choice. Full bar is available so I started with a vodka gimlet which was passable. Warm goat cheese appetizer was incredible. Two different pizzas from their wood fired oven and both were absolutely delicious. Got dessert to go.

Had the wood fired cheese pizza and arugula salad. Salad was unique with slices of mozzarella and tomatoes on a platter with a great dressing. Pizza was on home made crust and brown and bubbly. Slices were nice size and foldable. All was great. Seating is cramped so one star off. Didn't realize until later that there was outdoor seating too. Food was fantastic.
