Uptown Raw Bar & Grill

Came here with a group of 5 friends. Really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and fresh food. The self serve beer and convenient store style drink cooler is definitely something I wasn't expecting.

Our party of six came on a Monday evening and we were welcomed by the friendliest hostess with a warm smile. From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt extremely welcome. We were seated immediately. The menu has something for everyone (not just oysters!) and I thought the prices were pretty reasonable. Our server Sam was amazing; she was friendly and attentive. The food was also so good. It came out pretty quickly and it was steaming hot. I had the blackened shrimp skewers (amazing!) and my husband had the stuffed shrimp (also great!). My sister-in-law had the low country boil and we all wished we had ordered that. Overall, this place had everything: friendly staff, great atmosphere, and great food. I think we will definitely go back before our trip is over!

So glad we found this place! We got there about 20 mins til 11 am. There were a few others waiting, as well. Upon walking in, I noticed the cleanliness of the dining area. The server explained that drinks were self serve. They have a cooler (like those in a convenient store) that you can get bottled drinks, beer, and even wine. They also have draft beer that you get yourself. They give you a score card to keep up with how many drinks you get.
The server was amazing. She kept checking on us.
We started with the tuna dip. It was so delicious. My husband got a dozen raw oysters and the shrimp dinner. He said the oysters were very fresh and the shrimp were also good. I got the mahi dinner….SUPERB! My son got the low country boil….also good.
We will definitely be coming back to this place.

This was our first time getting to visit and we are glad we did. The menu had a great selection and we decided to go with the 1/2 dozen grilled Oysters as an appetizer and the Grouper Tacos for our main course. The drinks are self serve so you have to mark down on a card what all you had to drink. Waitresses were excellent and kitchen was churning out food pretty quickly. Definitely on our list to return again.

Absolutely marvelous. Lisa and Sam were spot on with service. Carlos shucks beautiful, flavorful oysters, and don't even get me started on the gal running the grill.
I'm ashamed I didn't get her name but she rocks that grill and flattop and knows what she's doing. Will definitely be back.
