Scooter’s Chicken & More

on Vacation, just happened to drive by, the outside looked promising. it was just what i was searching for, local, homemade food done right. service was friendly . I had a 2 piece fried chicken , with a side of potato salad. hand breaded and fried perfectly, the potato salad was homemade, and really good! if I ever go back to this area, its on my must stop at list!

Food was good, but not great. I had fried chicken special and my wife had fried mullet. The mullet was fried with the skin on. The fried okra was really good and the onion rings were really tasty although the breading crumbled off of most of them. The Dr. Pepper was a little flat.

The staff was very friendly and the food was good! My husband and I wish we would’ve found this place sooner! We didn’t have a long wait time either. I got the Philly cheesesteak and tots. My husband got a Nashville hot sand which with tots. Definitely recommend everyone to check this place out!

We ordered the hamburger and fries and was disappointed in the flavor and how long it took. I don’t mind waiting for fresh cooked food but it took way too long even for cooking fresh. We gave it a second chance and went back for breakfast and glad we did. The breakfast sandwiches were awesome and the price was more than fair. The service was much faster this time around and very friendly. Can’t wait to try the fried chicken on our next visit.
