First off, we enjoyed the pizza. The staff were super fun to talk with. If you wanted to use the website to order your food, be aware there are items that may show as sold out on the website that you could get if you were to go in person to the pizzeria. Some of the menu items are limited and therefore they show sold out online to keep people from ordering too much so as to spread the wealth. My recommendation would be to go in and order your food while the sun is still up and people are still on the beach, sit down, have a beer (or two), and have a conversation with the staff.

The vodka pizza was good, but I think it needed more vodka sauce. It seemed like it was mostly cheese and very little sauce. Perhaps this is only a personal preference.

The Diablo pizza was a fun fusion of lightly fried chicken, spice from the peppers and sweet from the honey. Most people enjoyed this pizza the most.

We also got a meat lovers which was also very good.

The pizza is New York style and is good, but the chef began work as a pastry chef. As such people go to Peter's Pizza as much for the desserts as they do the pizza. Be sure to stop in and try a slice of whatever flavor bread pudding they've come up with while you're there. Peter's is a great place to eat in the St Joe Beach area.

My wife is vegan. I eat anything that moves too slowly. There are very few places that can please us both. My wife got a pizza with vegan "cheese" and I had the rice ball.

I had a minor issue with my rice ball, too small to bother with a review. The owner STILL kept trying to give me another for free.

The crust is tasty and crispy.

This one is on the repeat list.

Come for the pizza, stay for the bread pudding.

Order ahead if you want whole (New York-style) pies. Sold by the slice pizza and filled rolls are heated in the oven. We had a buffalo chicken, pepperoni, and meat lovers. All were good. Slight downside is the drying of the pizza when heated.

If you are into sweets, opt for the bread pudding. Flavors vary. Today we got one of the last salted caramel cheesecake. Which was flavor #105!

Wasn’t sure what to expect in a small Florida town like Port St. Joe, but we were really impressed! The building is small with only a few tables inside, and several tables outside, but it’s a cute place with a casual vibe. Bob was the pizza chef, and he was tossing the 18” pizza dough like a master! Can’t say enough about how amazing the garlic knots were! And the marinara sauce for dipping was SO FRESH. You could tell it was made with fresh ingredients. We opted for the vodka sauce pizza and added sausage, onion and black olives. Fantastic! We’re already planning our next trip out for more! If you’re in Port St. Joe this place is a must visit for pizza!!
