La Cubanita Cafe

This restaurant has the best Latino food in the Brandon area, good service and atmosphere.

Good place for a decent Cuban sandwich. I'm not much of a pro meat person, but the pork was tasty. They are quite big and decently priced. We also had the empanadas (chicken and beef) and we preferred the beef. The Yuca and Plantains were also very good. A little disappointed about them being out of the guava cheese turnover, but it was later in the afternoon when we stopped by. The Cafe con Leche was good and hot. Will definitely return to try more of their menu!!

It's pretty good, but not the best I've tasted. The prices are fair and the ambiance is really good. The people who serve aren't Cuban so you gotta specify how you like things made.
Example: If you like your Cuban toast crispy, you gotta specify. Otherwise, it's just warm.

This is probably my favorite Cuban place in Brandon, I drive usually from Riverview to go to this place particularly. I generally only order the Cuban sandwich special which is a great value with chips and a drink. They do have a wonderful selection of dinner items as well which are always fresh and made fresh every single day, including the Cuban bread which is delicious. It's not in the best location and it's hard to get in and out of the parking lot but it is well worth it for a great Cuban food experience. The service is always friendly and it is a good value however you will wait if there is a line it's not the fastest serve place but the food is fresh and worth it.
