The Salted Fry

A restaurant that caters to gluten free people! A real gem! We tried the chicken salad sandwiches with gluten free buns and truffle fries, yum! They also have handcrafted sodas and gluten free beers, and wines on tap. The restaurant is nestled between main streets of Mount Dora, its a must do while there.

The fries are fantastic! Nice and crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. Perfectly seasoned and great to eat on their own but the dipping sauces are amazing! We ordered two different dips (sorry dont remember which ones) and they were delicious! A great pair with the fries.

If you're in the Mt. Dora area and want a good lunch do yourself a favor and stop in. Very friendly staff and great food. "The Peaked Hill" was a delicious platter of fries and my wife enjoyed the chicken sandwich. If we weren't on vacation we'd come back again more often.

The BEST fries ever. I grew up in Mt. Dora and was just there visiting for New Years. Took a stroll downtown and came upon the Salted Fry. Hands down some good stuff. The guy behind the counter was knowledgeable, and very kind, but most of all the fries and dipping sauces were delish!!! I’m always searching for the “best” this or that and these are by far the best fries I have had. Thank you...Never lose your integrity!

I stopped by The Salted Fry when walking around Mt.Dora, cozy and such a cute place. I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries, they were amazing, I dipped my fries in the pesto sauce, it was to die for! I'm not even a gluten free type of person and I really enjoyed my meal so much! They also have these super cool self serve wine dispensers. The service was quick and friendly.
