First Watch - Colonial

I'm originally from NJ. I have been in SW FL for 10 years now. It has been quite a challenge to find a great breakfast spot. My search is over. I found First Watch. Starting from my great waitress Suzy who was very friendly and inviting. I ordered the Tradional Breakfast and it was Amazing! It was accompanied by a decaf coffee and one of the best tasting orange juices that I ever had. Pricing is fair especially for the great quality of food and the service that you get. The venue itself is modern and very clean. Must experience for yourself.

Always a full,hot and fresh mug of coffee. Love the pot of coffee left on the table to self serve. So many options for morning juices that’ll get you those veggie and fruits in your system in a tasty way. Pancakes galore and for the simple tastes like mine the traditional breakfast of eggs,toast,home fries and bacon/sausage are spot on every time. For my wife and I when we are visiting the Sunshine State, First Watch is always our First Choice!!

Great food! Awesome service! And it is a very clean restaurant. A must try if you haven't been.

Being at many different first watch restaurants, I have found this one to be one of my favorites. If you haven't been to a first watch yet I encourage you to reserve your table using open table or similar app as waiting for a table at first watch can become timely. This leads to my 4 stars in stead of 5. You need to come up with a covered waiting area with maybe a fan or two instead of steel chairs in the hot sun. People will wait for a table even in the hot sun, but making them comfortable and possibly even serving them water would start their experience much more positively and that only benefits the server!. Besides that. The table service is good and the food is fresh as to be expected.
