“Stopped by here today for lunch. Decided to get some hot wings and fries to go. The restaurant has a dive bar feel too it, and it seems like it’s been around for a long time(in the cherished landmark sense). The wings were hot and saucy and delicious. I had the blooming chicken and my husband had the shrimp dinner which was perfectly cooked. High praise from him. The Tuscan 6 ounce steak (no toppings) medium rare was delicious, tender and lightly seasoned. I had a side of angel hair pasta with olive oil and garlic. The chicken soup was loaded with pasta and chicken. Try not to fill up on the fresh bread.”

“The wife and I came here the other night. We got the pimentos and cheese app and it was great. Loved the lake location and setup. She ordered a cheeseburger and liked it. I ordered the BBQ sampler with pulled pork, brisket, collard greens and Mac and cheese. The pulled pork was 3 out of 5. The brisket was ON POINT 5 out of 5. The collards were ok with not much flavor. The “so called” grandmas Mac and Cheese was outright garbage. My grandma would commit suicide if forced to serve this trash. It looks like someone scrapped some 3 day old kraft out the bottom of the pot, let it sit for 3 days and then gave it to you. I wound not feed this to a my dog. The server offered to bring us some more and we declined. Service was good. Would have given 4 stars if not for the Mac and whatever that was.”

“Top notch food and service. My steak was perfectly cooked with a delightful and delicious Thai basil mushroom sauce. The wedge salad was perfectly balanced. The chocolate souffle is a must for dessert but I have had the pineapple upside down cake during an earlier visit and it is also a must try. The restaurant was kind enough to accommodate a request for scallops and short ribs by serving half orders of each as an entree. My only note here is the lobster bisque which I sampled. It was a little curry forward but it may be that curry and lobster just do not work as a flavor profile for me.”
