“In my opinion this restaurant and Mandarin Express in the mall have the best food in the city. I've been getting takeout from Hong Kong II since my freshman year of college in 2018. I get the honey wings with fried rice and it is always delicious, fresh, and hot EVERY TIME. They are super consistent. Takeout orders are ready in 15-20 minutes. I definitely recommend this place.”

“Went here for the first time today for lunch. The lady that took our order was friendly and helpful. We got gyros, Greek salad, Greek fries and baklava. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!! The atmosphere was pretty neat as well. Got to chat with the owner. He was grateful to know that we were first time guests and that we will definitely be back for some more amazing food. The dough wasn't done and we thought it was because of the type of pizza we ordered but was reminded that it was a regular menu item.. So it wasn't out fault. “The BEST Chinese food in Tallahassee! I've had some terrible Chinese food in this town - but this place never fails to impress me. The food is always hot, fresh, and so tasty! I rarely eat vegetables with my meal when I eat Chinese, but I ordered the Mongolian chicken... and the veggies were so fresh and delicious I ate them all. They are fast, courteous, and have the best selections and quality. I grabbed some of the donuts, too, and my kids and I ate the whole box! They were so good. Highly recommended for a delicious Tallahassee Chinese takeout experience!”

“I'm excited to say this is one of Tallahassee's hidden gems. I've eaten here roughly 10 times. I've ordered every different type of hibachi and sushi. Hasu has the best hibachi in town!They don't do the dinner and show like most places but personally this makes me happy. The staff is always concerned with sanitation and does a great job keeping the restaurant clean. I always get my order taken quickly regardless of how busy they are. The staff is always polite as well as nice. My experience has always been so good I make sure to leave bigger tips. Go to Hasu or order to go and enjoy!”

“I really want to leave this place a higher rating. The food is Tasty! And this is one of the only opportunities to experience Haitian cuisine in the area. Its the overall experience getting the food that’s the issue. 1. It seems every time I want to give 509 a chance they don’t have the dish I want to order or they ran out. 2. The wait time is Excessive. To get around this on my last visit, I placed an order for pick up AN HOUR before I was in the area and that’s about how long it took before it was ready. 3. Im also trying to figure out who are the customers they are targeting with the small serving of rice that comes standard with the meal? Traditionally, Haitian/Caribbean food comes with a much larger serving of rice. Overall, their inconsistency just poses too many inconveniences to the overall customer service experience. I look forward to an opportunity to updating this review with better experiences at 509. 🤷🏾♀️”
