“Mimi’s table has a wonderful, inviting atmosphere that is sure to make any dinner you have there an enjoyable experience. They have a great wine menu and our server recommended meals based off our wine choices which was appreciated. Our meal started with a complimentary crab and white asparagus salad which was quite good. Then we ordered the rosemary bread with olive oil and wow! It was fantastic. The bread was warm and fresh and they refilled our bowl a few times! I got the grilled Porkchop that was not as great as I expected it to be. It was juicy but just did not have much flavor. The mashed potato’s were light and tasty but I was not a fan of the collard greens. For dessert we got the key lime pie. I felt as though the crust to filling ratio was off - almost an equal thickness of crust and filling! We ended up taking the filling off and eating it without the crust which was delicious! I would go back again for a bottle of wine and some starters, but the main dish did not have me wanting to come back, especially for the high price point.”

“While visiting Tallahassee we tried breakfast at Uptown Cafe. I don't think it's known for its decor, but that wasn't what we came for. As in most eateries at this time they were understaffed, but our service was excellent and our food supreme. I had the banana bread French toast -- scrumptious! And my spouse had the Uptown combo which he heartily enjoyed. Yum!”

“I have loved the original location since they opened a few years ago. They always had a unique take on the dishes they were serving. Since they started to remodel the location on the parkway they started to introduce a number of modern options to the menu. The fact that they were able to parlay their modern thinking into a brand new concept under the Casa Grande name is fabulous! They have a menu full of traditional Tex-Mex and boutique tacos as well as flights of their most popular items so diners like me who love to sample won't have a hard time choosing what they would like to have for dinner. The place itself is beautiful as well. It matches the brand and even the sign outside is a draw. It changes colors! This new location is sure to be a hit with the locals in the area especially once the pandemic settles down. I'm glad that I was able to get a good table on a Monday night. Once things get back to normal I don't know if that's going to be a regular occurrence. I'm sure there's going to be a wait every night of the week!”

“I loved it! I am vegetarian and gluten free and was a little concerned that I would not have alot of options, however, I was highly satisfied. There is a vegetarian broth option and so many vegetables and tofu, plus eggs. The little quail eggs were so cool! I had a great time and certainly ate my fill. They even had two kinds of gluten free noodles I could choose from. It felt like a way chiller , Asian version of the Melting pot. I think it is a great place to meet friends or family and talk while having a really fun dining experience. The staff was friendly and helpful and the place was clean. If you eat meat or like seafood, you will really get your money worth too!”

“Visiting from Texas. Randomly googled vegan/pescatarian restaurants and Tasty Asian came up amongst many others. We were so glad to had visited here. It all started with a very hospitable greeting from Sabrina at entry. Her patience was very acceptable with our ignorance of what to eat. She was very informative on allergens in certain dishes.
