“My husband and I went to Walk Ons Friday evening 3/17/21. We were seated and the waitress asked If we had ever been there. We told her no. My hubs asked about flavored lemonade. She told him they had strawberry lemonade which he ordered. He drank the first one. She asked if he wanted a refill. He said yes. Before leaving she asked if he wanted another refill to which he said yes. I was treating my hubs and when she brought the bill. I noticed he was charged $4.49x3 for each lemonade. Never once did she state refills were not free. That was almost $15 worth of lemonade. Every restaurant we patronize they let us know that there are no free refills on lemonade if that’s their policy! I was just taken aback that the waitress didn’t mention no free refills. I just believe that servers should be trained to mention extra cost such as that! Hubs mentioned that to her in a very respectful manner. But, totally unexpected-the cost of another meal! I’m glad he enjoyed the lemonade. Next time we will know if the waitress/waiter don’t mention it. I just think they should be trained to let customers know. Thank God I had the extra $10 plus a nice tip for her-monetary and how to let customers know of an up charge. Food was good!”

“I come here as a regular customer and I’d really like to comment on one particular cashier. Her name is Kayleigh and she is just the sweetest darn person I’ve ever met. Always smiling, always nice, always gets my order correct, remembers me and greets me each and every time. Customer service from her is absolutely amazing. Most time I come here she’s always there and working so hard. She deserves a raise! The other person I’ve dealt with a couple of times… her name is Mina and she is a horrible b#$@&. She so mean to her coworkers and terribly rude to customers. Those two are the main ones I remember but overall service here has been good. Definitely recommend.”

We were extremely pleased as the steaks was cooked as ordered(rare, medium rare and well done. And we decided if we ever in Tallahassee again we will have dinner here. “Lindy's is a classic old world chicken restaurant. They really only have fried chicken. It is the best around. Do not eat here inside. The ambiance has a lot to be desired. Mostly nobody does. Get it carry out like everyone else. My personal favorite is the chicken sandwich. It is dressed with pickle, mustard, mayo. You can request it dipped in buffalo sauce. This is good too. For under $5 it is a steal considering it is a generous sized breast cut directly off the bone. In contrast to some robot breaded frozen thing at most places this is real food. Albeit batter fried real food. They have decent sides if you like old south type fair like greens.”

We were about to leave when our server (that I'm pretty sure wasn't supposed to be our server) came by and took our drink orders. He was great! “Stopped by this Starbucks during a trip for an afternoon pick-me-up and so glad we did. For starters, the fact that this location has pictures of all the visiting dogs is amazing! We found it via Google reviews but when we pulled up we were a bit scared when we saw it was attached to a gas station and there are pumps outside. Please don't let that put you off, go in!!! So cute inside, very clean, adorable decor, quiet ambiance. They have seating inside and outside,, we were seated right away, the waitress was very hospitable. The menu is amazing, a LOT of choices, and so many unique comfort food items. The food came out quickly and that's when my table of four was really blown away. I had biscuits and gravy and they literally were the best biscuits I have ever had. So soft and tender, held the flavorful gravy so perfectly, amazing. Another person had sweet potato pancakes and we all had a bite and they are to die for!!! Another had a Black and Bleu burger that I would have to assume was good because he was wolfing it down like it was the last food on earth. They apparently have good dessert, but we were so full we couldn't ask. We are going to have to come back through here on our way back home home 🏠 to Dallas, because this is our new favorite restaurant. Just amazing. Not to be missed.”
