Lakewood Ranch Lobster Pound and Fresh Seafood Bistro and Market

BEST clam chowder I may have ever had - even in New England. Really outstanding. We also tried several other items that were very good, but the chowder was the best. Next time I'm definitely trying the lobster roll. The people are also very nice and extremely helpful.

After a couple of days of mediocre fresh fish from high priced restaurants, we accidentally stop here and what a find! With the high quality of seafood, sitting outfront made a pleasant day. Ace on their clam chowder and 2 lobsters cooked to perfection! Highly recommend! Owners are downright friendly also.

This defines lobster roll for me. Connecticut style, a hot, buttery, rich indulgence. A side of tomato salad which was very good. I also sampled the great New England style chowder and I was looking forward to a big bowl, but couldn't resist another round of lobster roll. It was too good to pass up. Friendly service made me feel very relaxed. Small place, but I would eat standing on the sidewalk if necessary.

Love the staff, love the fish of the day tacos. Everything is super fresh and homemade. Great blue crab, excellent clam chowder, several good soup choices that change, just added tables to the market to make a bit larger eat in space. Every market fish I've had has been great. Highly recommended. :)
