Cortez Cafe

Address: 12108 Cortez Rd W, Cortez, FL 34215, USA

Restaurant Cafe

“I have been going to this place since they opened 15 years ago. It is a mix of locals and tourists. The food is great, the service is great and the people are friendly. Try this place out and you will not be disappointed. Tell Sam the owner that “Grumpy” sent you in. He’s a good guy and does his best. Everyone there does their best. 👍 to the Cortez Cafe.”

Star Fish Company

Address: 12306 46th Ave W, Cortez, FL 34215, USA

Restaurant

“We come here every year when we visit in March. You're not going to find fresher seafood in Florida or anywhere else. Be sure to get a bowl of the seafood chowder. Dollar for dollar it might be the best thing I've ever eaten.”

Swordfish Grill

Address: 4628 119th St W, Cortez, FL 34215, USA

Restaurant

“We had a fine experience at the Swordfish. I had Oysters Rockefeller, (a little light on spinich), otherwise very tasty, and a blackened Grouper sandwich, cooked to perfection. I had Key Lime Pie for dessert which was tangy good. There was a live blues band playing on the patio (on Thursdays) to provide ambiance along with the sunset. We will return.”

Cortez Kitchen

Address: 4528 119th St W, Cortez, FL 34215, USA

Restaurant

“Packed with people, parking is dicey and combative.... Friday in season... what did I expect? Grouper is outstanding, fixed many ways, most likely swimming in the AM. Our server was MIA most of the time, and forgetful of several items for our group. Other servers seemed to have it together, and were around and attentive. It would be a 5 star dive bar for sure if not for the poor service. BTW, you must find your own table, so scope out folks who are almost done. I don't know why this works, but it seems to. Classic old FL restaurant at the fishing docks...no frills, just good food, beer, sometimes music, and great people watching.”

The Seafood Shack Marina, Bar & Grill

Address: 4110 127th St W, Cortez, FL 34215, USA

Restaurant

“Decent place. The clam chowder was very good and so was the smoked fish dip. My Cobb salad was good. The vinaigrette was good. However, my mom ordered shrimp and grits. Definitely not what we expected. The blue corn grits threw us off and it was very salty. Not like the shrimp and grits we have had before in other places. My dad's fish and chips came out over cooked. They were extremely dark in color. The price seemed a little high, but everything in Florida seems to be high in prices.”
