“Wow great location, amazing views, and all around hip vibe. Food is good and drinks are great. The Shore is one of our favorite spots in area to enjoy a cocktail and appetizer. This new Longboat Key location is very impressive. They have a clothing shop on site as well with friendly and attentive staff. Complimentary valet parking on site is a nice touch.”

“Went here tonight with my husband and daughter. The gnocchi were fantastic! Light and pillowy, unlike anything I’ve had before. My daughter got the spaghetti and meatballs which was really tasty as well. Super cozy atmosphere, family friendly, good service, and the owner was very personable and friendly. We will definitely be back on our next trip, if not again this time.”

“Four of us went to try the new seafood restaurant, Lazy Lobster Shanty--- so glad we did! Great food and excellent service. All of us loved our meals. I got the Lobster Mac and Cheese (creamy, cheesy, generous portion of lobster and a toasted crumb topping) and Lobster Bisque (a must!) Spouse had the special: Baked Cob with Crab, baked potato & broccoli. Said it was very good. Our friends loved their Captain's plate (shrimp, lobster, scallops) and Baked Haddock. If you go, save room for pie! We shared a piece of Maine Blueberry Crumb cheesecake- wow, it was great! We would all recommend Heather, our server, who was friendly and helpful discussing menu choices.”

“We were here in Christmas Eve and the food was excellent! The service was impeccable. The only complaint that I had (but it won't affect my review) is that the tables were so close together the staff and other patrons kept bumping into my chair as they walked by. Be sure after your meal that you go upstairs to the dessert room, it is a whole different experience but every bit as worthy of a 5-star review in its own right.”

“This place was great for lunch, eating at a wrought iron table on the shaded patio near a big twisty old oak tree hung with lights, the calm green sea just a few feet away. The best crab cake I've ever had and that's what I order in every seafood restaurant (and I'm from Boston). There's a bar but I think the food prices discourage the Spring Break crowd - not too expensive but not cheap bar food. Large really good crab cake sandwich with cole slaw was like $14. Classy but laid back, no loud music to shout over, just the quiet waves and people talking. Reminded me of old New Orleans a bit. We had our four-year-old with us but she was the only kid I saw there. Average age of 60 I'm guessing. Nice, calm, quality but reasonable prices. Highly recommended.”
