“Best new pizza joint in town. Pair it up with a beer next door at Union Beer store and feel like the uktimate local. (They deliver food next door!). But don't only think it's for pizza, the chef in the back is making everything from wings, to Pub Subs, to whatever new creation he can think of. Great Local Vibe and even better taste. I'll be a regular here.”

“These were really good churros. Ofcourse they are “mania” so there are like a dozen variations of churros on the menus. We got the churro stuffed with caramel and topped with cinnamon sugar. We also got a Cuban coffee. We enjoyed everything. The coffee was well put together. There was a nice crema on the top. The churros were very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You will enjoy it come check them out.”

“Great music, drinks and atmosphere. Nice place to hang out and dance. Only issue it was just way too hot in there, they need better AC.”

“We visited Miami to see some baseball games, and happened upon Angel who gave us the tour of a lifetime! The best part about visiting different parts of the country is coming to understand how the people live there, and Angel brought us to all the places that would do just that. His knowledge of the different aspects of what makes the heart of Little Havana beat so strong is what truly made our visit South the best experience ever. He knows little Havana in a way that only one whose heart is right there could. He is a true local, full of truly interesting facts, and is willing to share his relationships with all his friends there who make Little Havana's heart beat right along with his own. The tastes of the local treats there, like pastries, coffee, an authentic Cuban sandwich, and on and on. The best, simply the best way to understand the culture. And learning about the real picture of what happened during the Bay of Pigs event makes an American really think about things more deeply. It was just the luckiest thing that we hooked up with Angel. It's a day our family will reflect on forever! Sending our love from DC, Angel!! You get our five million Star Rating.”

“Authentic Puerto Rican Delights at Mofongo Restaurant - A Taste of the Island Right in Miami I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mofongo Restaurant, and as a Puerto Rican food enthusiast, I must say it was a culinary journey worth sharing. When craving authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, it can be quite challenging to find a place that truly captures the flavors of the island. However, my search led me to Mofongo Restaurant, and I was not disappointed. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a bustling restaurant, but the host was incredibly friendly and managed to find us a table outside after a short wait. It's worth noting that parking in the area can be a bit tricky, but Mofongo Restaurant offers valet service, which was convenient. Now, let's talk about the food. Our appetizers arrived, starting with the alcapurrias, which were good but didn't leave a lasting impression. However, the guineitos en escabeche (pickled green bananas) were love at first bite. They were simply delicious, bursting with flavor. And then came the star of the show: the mofongo with carne frita (fried pork). It truly embodied the authentic Puerto Rican touch. The seasoning was spot-on, and the fried pork was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, making my mouth water with every bite. To complement the meal, I enjoyed a refreshing Malta India and an ice-cold Medalla beer, the perfect finishing touch. The ambiance at Mofongo Restaurant is relaxed and exudes the vibrant vibes of Puerto Rico. It truly feels like you've been transported to the island, creating an immersive experience. Although the alcapurrias didn't quite meet my expectations, the exceptional guineitos en escabeche and the mouthwatering mofongo with carne frita more than made up for it. If you're looking for a taste of authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, Mofongo Restaurant is a must-visit. From the warm hospitality to the incredible flavors, it's a culinary adventure you won't want to miss.”

“Our waiter Michael laid out all the options and did not miss on any suggestions. Great home style atmosphere with food to match. The live music was an added touch that simply elevated what was already a great experience! Can’t wait to come back to try other dishes and hopefully leave room for dessert”

“Great little restaurant in the Miami area. They have great music and amazing dishes that are italian cuisine with a tropical twist. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and offered a wine pairing with the food, I got the risotto and was very happy with the pairing, so the staff is knowledgeable about their food. It may not look like much from the outside but when you come in and have their food and service you will be happy that you did.”

“My family and I wanted to go to the taqueria but there are literally about 3 tables and since it was cinco de mayo it was impossible to sit so we ended up going in the restaurant. The hostess in the front wasn't very welcoming and she told me we could only sit there an hour and a half. We didn't mind since we were already there. The service was a bit poor, there were only 2 waiters so it took a while. I have to say the food was extremely yummy! A little bit pricey but it was worth it. We spent 263 dollars with a service fee included. Also, keep in mind the bathroom is next door in the taqueria.”

“I could eat their pastries all day long! The first day we stopped in to sample their ham and cheese pastry as well as split the fruit tart. Both were amazing! We went the second day for dessert and had crème brûlée and the chocolate topped napoleon. Also, AMAZING! This place is a must stop!”

“Phenomenal! This place is delicious! Great Cuban authentic food!. Large portions as well and the prices are reasonable. They have live music that adds to the flair! Service is good and the staff was extremely friendly. I would say kid friendly, tho there was not a kids menu. We ate with our kids here at about 7pm for reference. I definitely recommend this restaurant for great food and fun atmosphere!”

“I came to Old Havana for a late lunch with a friend and it was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I’ll be honest it started off rocky because the hostess in the front and one of the busboys did not give a very pleasant vibe but when we were seated we had Karla for our server and she was THE BEST! She was very pleasant, she was extremely knowledgeable, she gave us great suggestions and made the whole experience for us much better. The food here is amazing, reasonably priced and the portions are freaking huge! I love the vibes and aesthetics as well. We sat outside and it felt like a whole Cuban vibe. I highly recommend!”

“If authentic Mexican food is what you’re looking, look no further! This restaurant truly embraces the home made style as well as taste. The chilaquiles were made fresh to perfection, the salsa verde tasted fresh and well balanced. I was very happy with the service and cleanliness of this restaurant. Give it a try and you won’t regret it!”

“Overall this restaurant was good. Excellent presentation of the mojito and the empanadas (not on the menu) were yummy. Make sure to ask for the salsa with them!! We went really early (10am) so it wasn't busy and no live music.”

“The churros are 5 star. The truck looks very new and clean. But prices really too high. $10 for plain churros, albeit 8 large churros. And $7+ for a scoop of ice cream.”

“Today is the first time I have been to a Jersey Mike and the owner made it a great experience. The footprint is relatively small but it’s very organized and clean. The owner took the time and helped us pick the most popular sandwiches on the menu. They sliced the meat right in front of you. The owner was so nice and gave us a free brownie for your visit.”
