“The woman that takes the orders is less than professional - and with what sounded like a TV blaring next to her, it was hard to hear but after getting over that negative experience, the rest wasn’t really that bad. Delivery came on time from a relatively friendly driver and although the food was average, we didn’t expect much more than that at 10:00pm on a Monday night right next to Miami International. They’ve found their niche with hotels (as I’ve read in many reviews) - sure serves a purpose for the weary traveler. PS I think we were charged about $8 for delivery - they don’t give any breakdown and only accept cash upon delivery.”

“We didn't want hotel breakfast, so we came here instead. We enjoyed the Cuban breakfast of scrambled eggs with ham, toasted Cuban bread and fries (be sure to get some salt and hot sauce). The Central American breakfast was especially good: eggs with onions and tomatoes mixed in, black beans, queso, plantains and avocado slices. To wash it down, some freshly squeezed to order orange juice and a couple of Cortadito coffees. The staff (owner?) was very friendly and patient with our limited Spanish language skills.”

I ordered from The Hamoneria like twice or three times, every single order had an issue, since order completely wrong, item opened or expired. Unfortunately I am not alone because I shared this store with my Spanish friends living in SoCal and they got issues too. Now the good, Paco helps when an order is wrong, item is missing or expired. I wish I can change this rate in the future for a higher one, because that would mean that not bad orders are shipped. Unfortunately good intentions don't work, mechanics do. Another good here is the selections of the store, many good products directly from the source.”

Another good thing about this place is that they have a loyalty program, after ten lunch the 11th is free. I always have the salmon with vegetables and corn. The flavor is exquisite and the quality of the food is totally fresh. Also you can ask for the Picaña, which is to die for. You won’t regret coming to this cafeteria. I totally recommend this place.”

“Brunch review: Four stars. Good, friendly service in a nice setting. I got the steak and egg. The steak was good, as was the bit of salad. The fries were maybe a bit dry and boring, but not bad. I also tried the avocado chocolate mousse dessert. I didn't particularly like it, but it's also not bad. I think this place has good potential, and I'm still excited to try it for dinner.
