My husband and I were really impressed with the variety on tap. Service was great, and we went at a time where it felt like there were more locals than tourists, which we always dig when we ourselves are tourists. ☺️
We wound up here because we love pub trivia and kept reading reviews that this is a great trivia place. It wasn’t. The crowd was enthusiastic and kind, but the trivia itself wasn’t ideal. Nonetheless, I recommend staying for the draft drinks, service, and the nostalgic cassette tape bar—on a non-trivia night.
This place is awesome. I don't drink but I never felt.out of place. Chill vibe and TONS of games are offered for free. They have a small selection of vintage arcade games but a wide selection of both card and board games. A great way to hang out with friends and relax for a few hours in a unique atmosphere. You don't have to be a gamer to enjoy this place. Brad, the bartender, was incredible. I'll definitely be back to see him. And my biggest plus was they allowed my pups to roam about! All around a great, drama free night out in Key West!
You have to stop by this place!!! Keith is one cool dude and the stuff in this place takes you back to your childhood. Great beer and coffee too.
We looked up craft beer bars in KW a few years ago and now The Retro Room is an annual stop for us. They have a great selection of beers on draft and the games draw a cult following of regulars who are engaging and always engrossed in some new game. We love to see Keith there every year and see the new and numerous toys around the funky space, and though it doesn’t look like much from the outside as it’s a kind of strip mall by the big Dive shop, it’s really a cool and modern space with tons of vintage stuff for the gamer in you (we aren’t gamers but we still feel quite at home). Not a huge space but plenty of room and it’s huge on spirit and on craft beer offerings! Have hesitated to review this for fear of it getting too crowded, but trip advisor keeps poking me as it knows we went. Go for a beer and it may just be on your annual list as well. Tell Keith we sent you! Cheers.
They don't serve foods here but they have a ton of different beers!
The owner/bartender was super nice and engaging. Everything was diffently retro! The TV has on old school movies! Worth checking out!
