Ford's Garage Hamlin

This review has two sides. I ordered a cheeseburger & tots for pickup. The negative was that when you’re driving north on Hamlin Grove, and enter on the first entrance, there are no signs that say “THIS IS THE PICKUP DOOR”. The are curb signs, but they face the other direction. So, as confirmed by the staff member, l was not the first person to go to the front/main door. And instead of the hostess saying - that’s ok… it happens all the time… I’ll go get your order. Nope, she told me to go around to the other side. The good. The order was ready. The burger was cooked properly, and all the food was warm and good tasting. The place just needs better signage and cooperative staff that knows how to be flexible. P.S. l responded as they requested and l never heard from anyone…

We dined here after church on Sunday so we were right on time to enjoy the Sunday Brunch menu they have. Our server was Natalie and she was awesome! While the brunch menu isn't extensive, she let us know that any item you may want outside of the brunch options is available for order as well. I opted for the Brunch Burger that had a perfectly thick patty layered with cheese, egg and caramelized onion. Breakfast potatoes are offered with it but I upgraded to the sweet potato tots that are served with a sidecar of caramel sauce. The tots were sweeter than I expected even without the caramel so I gave them to my daughter who devoured them. We sat outside which was under a covered patio that allows for fresh air and TVs. Next time I come back here I may try something different in the menu but I could def eat the Brunch Burger again (hold the tots).

First time here at Fords Garage in Hamlin. Wow wow wow what an amazing atmosphere and the food was incredible. We started with the small order side of onion rings but you can get a large tower of Onion rings. These were perfect, then we wanted to try the pretzels and they were incredible, comes with mustard and beer cheese. For my meal I picked the BBQ Burnt Ends Melt with bacon jam and sharp cheddar cheese! 😋 It was so good. The place is in a fantastic location that is grown by leaps and bounds. It’s easy to get to and plenty of parking. Safe neighborhood and this spot I believe will now be one of our local hangout spots. Upon arriving around 7:00pm local time there was to be about 20 minute wait, which were glad to do but we opted instead to try the open seating at the bar. This paid off because Brittany behind the bar was very nice, pleasant to talk with and did an outstanding job. I will be back just because of her! Thanks Ford Garage for an outstanding night out and now a new hangout spot!

I had eaten at Ford's Garage in Brandon w/ some friends & enjoyed it. This was the 1st time my Wife went & she also liked it. This location had recently opened & we waited about 30 minutes to get seated. Once we did, our Server was very friendly & attentive. They have a delicious Onion Ring appetizer that we got before ordering our Burgers. They were well prepared & tasty. I recommend going there for a nice, casual dinner out at a reasonable price.

Food is good, came 4 times already just because of it. Spent 120$ on this visit alone and always tip well no matter how the service is. But seriously, the bar staff is the least attentive I’ve ever experience. Every time I come I have to wait 5-10 minutes before some even says “hello, we’ll be right there with you in a moment”. Then the whole time you are seated they barely check on you. God forbid they make eye contact with you when you try to get their attention to order another drink or spend more money on food. I get they’re new but Jeez, 4 visits and no matter the bar tender always the same.
