“The wait time isn’t that bad. The food is pretty good but our waitress wasn’t. She brought our bread out, then our appetizer. She never collected the used plates on the table. Then our food came out and they still neglected to take the used plates off the table although the plates were stacked on the table and it was barely room for our actual dinner. A customer shouldn’t have to ask for condiments. We had to ask for steak sauce and ketchup but not our waiter. She really didn’t check on us. The service was horrible but the food was good. I would recommend the restaurant but not the waitress.”

“So glad I found this new Vietnamese place to eat! It's a nice little restaurant with a few extra tables outside when it gets busy which it did on a Monday night when we were there. What really stuck out for me was the sliced beef salad which is raw but comes in a big portion. The other appetizers were excellent as well. The server asked us if we were gonna be able to finish everything after we ordered the appetizers plus the meals. I was actually surprised at how big the portion sizes were. The other thing I liked was how they made their Thai tea. There are few places I actually like the way their Thai tea tastes and theirs is good. Really glad I checked this place out!”

“This place is not for posers, wannabees or part-timers. The bar is the same as I remembered in 1992, a little dark with nothing but locals enjoying the cold beers and good friends that understand your day's issues more than most would. The food is held to a high standard that only 30+ years of business could produce. Beverly the bartender served me drinks when I was barely legal and is still pouring the best beers now. A little smokey but just like I remember on my way to a warrant show in 1993 so they get a pass. Great prices and great food are the norm here, take advantage.”

“Our first time coming here and it was great! We were there on a Sunday night and it was pretty quiet. There was only one young man working in the front so he seated us and was our server. He was very friendly and patient in helping us navigate the menu and making sure we were getting what we wanted. I ordered Griot (fried pork) and he even asked me if I preferred it without the fat. :) The server did suggest that we get an appetizer (we had a table of 4) because the food could take a little longer. In additional to the griot, we had ordered curry goat and 2 orders of oxtail. We passed on the appetizer and assured him we would be fine. While it may have taken a little longer than other restaurants, it was obvious that each dish was made to order and fresh! It was worth the wait. The portions were excellent for the price! (Griot $10, Curry goat $14, Oxtail $16) We'll be back to try more items!”
