“I like the idea of this place, a healthy surf-shack style eatery with a cool outdoor seating vibe. The food and smoothies are great and there’s tons of options to choose from. I ordered tacos and couldn’t believe how good they were. However, I’m really confused about the name “Bears” and the fascination with giant teddy bears planted everywhere. Not sure what that has to do with a tropical themed restaurant. This place could be great if they fixed a few things. Food took 20 minutes to come out as they were understaffed. The free water cups are a complete joke, they are the size of a 2oz bathroom mouth wash cup. I’m not sure if they were trying to shame customers into buying bottled water or they ran out of regular cups, but either way it comes off as stingy/cheap. Overall fantastic food and a very friendly staff in a cool beachy atmosphere.”

“First, we loved the food. Food was a 5. We had a reservation for 730 and we're seated on time. Waitress, Molly I think, was very good and attentive. The only spoiler of the night was we were rushed out of there. By 810 we were getting stared from the staff. Our waitress actually suggested us to finish our wine on the back patio. Who does that? The states continued until we vacated the table. What would have been a great night soured very quickly from there.”

“This small bistro style resturant is a jewel. This Lebanese family turns out wonderful dishes with Mediterranean flare. The spinach turnover appetizer was packed with lemon zest and flakey. The Australian lamb chops were cooked to perfection and their hummus as creamy and truely Mediterranean in spice and texture. Salmon was delicious and the seared tuna was beautiful and tasty but I would get the salmon the next time and the steak looks great. We also had an almond cake with strawberries for dessert which was a slice of sweet clouds. They have a Cotes De Rhone on the wine list that is amazing. The whole family treats you like family . Definitely make reservations, be flexible because it will be worth it.”

“I had always heard great things about Papa's Tapas so my boyfriend and I finally tried it. I can't believe it took us so long!! The food is fantastic and the servers really make you feel at home. We split 4 tapas for dinner and it was the perfect amount to feel full, but not overstuffed. Our favorites were the Rosemary Garlic wings and the Camembert cheese. Next time, I'll be trying their famous sangria and some more tapas!”

“Decided to try Christina's. Though they serve breakfast throughout, and I was a bit early for lunch, I thought I would try a burger. Often, that can be a mistake, trusting a place that seems to specialize in breakfasts with a burger, but it was a wonderful choice! I opted for the bacon-mushroom-cheeseburger, in part because it was the same price as a plain cheeseburger, $9.99. Though the menu did not specify it, the burger comes with a side. I asked for the pasta salad. The only issue, since they make it fresh, is there is a bit of wait for your burger. For me, that was not a hindrance. It arrived, well presented, dressed with lettuce and fresh-sliced tomato on a well-proportioned bun. The burger was thick and juicy, like my Grandma used to make, perfectly fit to the Bun. Very satisfying. Unbelievably delicious. I enjoyed the pasta salad as well. I opted to sit outside. It's Florida in February, so it's very lovely. But there is inside seating as well. Outside is very popular with local dog-owners, and the staff brought water dishes for the canines. Service could not be better. Friendly, attentive but no over-bearing. And they let me linger while I enjoyed my coffee (very good, too!) and drank in the Delray springtime.”

“I love this restaurant. I was a little apprehensive because it is 100% gluten free, but it is really nothing to worry about here. The menu is creative and tasty and diverse. And I love how healthy almost everything on the menu is. I get the zucchini noodles and love it. My wife and I just tried the gluten free cupcake and it was INCREDIBLE. Never would have guessed that it was anything other than a moist, sweet, delicious cupcake. It took all of our willpower to not get a second one.”
