“This place is great! They plenty of seating options, some outside at high top tables right on the water, some in the restaurant and then a deck overlooking the water, not to mention the outside bar right by the boat docks! The food was amazing and the staff was all fantastic and very attentive. The only cons I saw was that the restaurant sits up on a hillside and I didn't see any other way to get in except the stairs. Also while we were eating the table behind us finished and with the food left on the table the seagulls and other birds made quick snacks if that food, flying into the deck and around the tables. Overall fun place with great food!”

“Lunch on Saturday afternoon was great! Food here is delicious. Everything we had was perfect. Clam strips were the biggest I've ever seen. Fish for fish and chips was big, very flakey and cooked perfectly. Cuban sandwich was very good. I also enjoyed their coleslaw. We sat out on the deck by the water and it had a very nice atmosphere. Our server was awesome. I'm not a family member or a paid reviewer as some have suggested. Most likely they're not happy wherever they go. Constantly having unrealistic expectations of the staff. We'll definitely be back.”

“My son and I went for a late supper tonight. We ordered the fried chicken special. The four piece chicken were cooked completely. No evident of the bird having pink near the joints! I really enjoyed the side dishes too. Cheese and macaroni, potato casserole, biscuits with apple butter or honey to shmere on them . Used to be able to eat the whole meal in one sitting. Cannot do it anymore. Then only periodically I'll have fried chicken. Except for how much salt was used in the recipe, my son and I agreed that meal hit the spot!”

“Food was great, it was brought fairly quickly :) unfortunally the waiters dont know what they are doing. We asked for the check. Waited about 10 mins, they walked by didnt take the bill with the payment, had to ask another waiter to cash us out .while we were eating they didnt even pick the used dishes, so we barely had any room(6 people table). It got bad that WE started placing them on another table that was empty after finally cashing us out we were contemplating whether to order a desert because they just didn't come at all not even to ask us you know at the very end if you need anything any refills on drinks we were finally able to have somebody give us a dessert we ate our dessert we waited maybe another 10-15 minutes no bill for the desert nothing we just left extra money on the table because he never came back we could have just left not paying for the desert my mom didn't get any refills on her drink the lady with us got so irritated because there was no extra plates for the big guacamole thing we got and you know it's to the point that we had to put the dishes that we've been using on another table and even after we're almost done they're still not being picked up then maybe the waiters need to be trained a little bit more but other than the waiters the food was great it came by quickly”

“Listen, this is important. If you can find any place like this for an older crowd, where you feel 100% welcomed by everyone in the place, this is it. Hand's down the best experience I have ever had in a restaurant/bar. It's a hole in the wall from the outside, but it's the closest thing to Cheers in the south. It was neat and tidy, clean and the drinks were great. But most of all, that food was amazing. Prices we're beyond reasonable for the handcrafted food that they serve. This is not a drill, the food alone is worth a visit. The staff is beyond wicked and so laid back. The crowd was a hoot and everyone knew everyone and we felt like we were part of the crew. You MUST like talking to people because it's part of the experience. I'm rather speechless at the gem we found and if there is any reason to come to Florida, then Alex's Place is absolutely worth the visit. Come for a snack or a drink and stay for the company. Man, I'm going back....period.”

“The place is nice. Been at this location for about a year or so. Orders are normally correct. However. Be prepared to deal with the homeless. Either sitting on the curb, inside stinking or at the corner begging. Dont give them food. They want money and throw the food down on the ground. Notice the picture. I know they cant do anything about the homeless but it is part of the experience you get when you visit.”

“First time coming and would def come back! There isn't any seafood boil place in the area and if I wanted something like this I would have to drive to Orlando. Very happy that this place opened up here. I've noticed many people came and ended up leaving because they thought this was a gumbo restaurant and looking for Creole food, however this is not the place. They serve hot bags of seafood by the pound with potatoes and corn all mixed in a sauce of your choice. Classic seafood boil that I know and love. Will be coming back !”

It's nice to see other restaurants trade food so they don't have to pay money to eat, but if a customer is waiting, I think it's wise to get their order done, then move on to what what your going to get for free...”

“This is a great Chinese food place to go to regardless of the time of the day. We have been going here for well over 10 years and this place has not changed one bit. They are still the nicest people and still always make the quickest and best Chinese food in Town! The food is always spot on and extremely hot! Even after a hour long trip through the grocery store. The food even re-heats well the next day. They have the best Spring Rolls and even better Crab Rangoon!!”
