Thoroughly recommend trying this guy out, so much better than the MD, BK and Checkers offerings. This stand is shiny, new and CLEAN with quality dogs and moist buns for less money. You can even pay with a credit card if you need to. I definitely will be back again for more.”

“Clean store with reasonable prices on food, drinks, and gas and a nice selection too. Only oddity is they only offer large paper cartons for hotdogs and rollers. It's the size carton plate for nachos, not single serving items, so my husband wrapped his hot dog in a napkin. The other container would've rolled in around smearing condiments. Minor nuisance, but overall decent store.”

My fiance ordered eggs over easy,sausage,oatmeal, and yogurt. Everything was good besides my oatmeal looked like it was not cooked. The waitress took my meal off. That was very nice.”

“Food was great, it was brought fairly quickly :) unfortunally the waiters dont know what they are doing. We asked for the check. Waited about 10 mins, they walked by didnt take the bill with the payment, had to ask another waiter to cash us out .while we were eating they didnt even pick the used dishes, so we barely had any room(6 people table). It got bad that WE started placing them on another table that was empty after finally cashing us out we were contemplating whether to order a desert because they just didn't come at all not even to ask us you know at the very end if you need anything any refills on drinks we were finally able to have somebody give us a dessert we ate our dessert we waited maybe another 10-15 minutes no bill for the desert nothing we just left extra money on the table because he never came back we could have just left not paying for the desert my mom didn't get any refills on her drink the lady with us got so irritated because there was no extra plates for the big guacamole thing we got and you know it's to the point that we had to put the dishes that we've been using on another table and even after we're almost done they're still not being picked up then maybe the waiters need to be trained a little bit more but other than the waiters the food was great it came by quickly”

“Listen, this is important. If you can find any place like this for an older crowd, where you feel 100% welcomed by everyone in the place, this is it. Hand's down the best experience I have ever had in a restaurant/bar. It's a hole in the wall from the outside, but it's the closest thing to Cheers in the south. It was neat and tidy, clean and the drinks were great. But most of all, that food was amazing. Prices we're beyond reasonable for the handcrafted food that they serve. This is not a drill, the food alone is worth a visit. The staff is beyond wicked and so laid back. The crowd was a hoot and everyone knew everyone and we felt like we were part of the crew. You MUST like talking to people because it's part of the experience. I'm rather speechless at the gem we found and if there is any reason to come to Florida, then Alex's Place is absolutely worth the visit. Come for a snack or a drink and stay for the company. Man, I'm going back....period.”

“My visit must have been on an off day. After looking at reviews, I had high expectations. The interior was dubious, a little dingy but hey, if you have great food you can overlook it. I ordered the skillet with scrambled eggs over potatoes and peppers. The eggs were hard and cooked way too long. The sausage gravy was so so. Not bad, but not good either. Husband got the Chicago beef. Very processed meat. Again, not bad but not anything special. Service was good. Perhaps they had a new cook or it was an off day. But looking at waffle house out the window across the street made me wish that had been my first choice.”

I'm not much of a beer fan, but they have this beer there that tastes like honey and bottled summer sunshine. I can't remember the name of it though. I'll update my review tomorrow night when I go and slide you the name. If you've never tried Thai, this would be an excellent place to start. ???? Seriously.
