Sonny's BBQ

This is great place to come with the family to talk and hangout. The servers are always right on time with tasks. The only thing is that the food comes out fast because they keep it heated all day, but it still tastes fresh. You don't feel rushed like most restaurants.

My experience here was very pleasant. The food was great. We had the feast for four which provided more food than even 4 could handle. Our server was better. He was fun and attentive and I wish I remembered his name to publically thank him. I cant speak for everyone, but as far as my family and my experience, it was fantastic.

Came on a Saturday with my son and his grandmother late January 2019, can't remember exact date but was last or second to last Saturday of the month. Walked in with no staff to be seen other than bartender who was speaking with customers who had clearly been there a while and had food. About 3 minutes in we got the attention of a server who told us we'd be seen in just a moment. 10 minutes later we were seen and seated. Staff was polite and were clearly hit with a rush they were not anticipating. I am a line cook and can sympathize with what happened. Our waitress was very loquacious and related to me about her children and her having to work two jobs to make ends meet. She was clearly overwhelmed, possibly due to the sudden uptake in business as it was dead one minute and probably 4 or 5 4 tops in less than 20 minutes. Our waitress forgot my garlic bread and brought my son a pork sandwich when we had specifically asked for no bun. Why she didn't catch that is a little beyond me. Any how, she tried her best. What's important was the fact that my baby back ribs were perfect and my son's pork slices were delicious. Awesome job in the kitchen.

Would definitely recommend because of the hard work and attention to detail the cooks put into every dish.
