Sawatdee Thai & Sushi

This place exceeded my expectations, and I have pretty high ones. They were so nice, the presentation was great and they were on me like a hawk to fill my glass and make sure I had anything I could want. This is a GREAT place!!! I highly recommend!

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and after being seated with menus the waitress approached us to take our order. With lunch selections ready to go, we were informed that there is no "Lunch" menu on the week-ends, only dinner. We should make a new selection. Ok, not a good start . . . . But let's allow this to play out.

The dining room was very, very warm. A/C didn't seem to be working. Uncomfortable. But we decided to reselect.

From the "Dinner Selections " I ordered sushi and Miso soup, my partner ordered Beef Fried Rice.

The Miso soup was good, not watered down.

Sushi was ok. Fish was fresh, rice was tasty, but just a pinch too much for my taste.

Fried rice was ok.

Service was ok.

Probably won't go back.

Ok, but a bit expensive for what it is.

Average.

I have been there twice now and I have to say it is the best Thai food I've had in Pinellas county. Best spring rolls too. Thai tea is amazing. Authentic Thai. Aroy maak maak.

Went to this restaurant tonight for dinner. We both ordered a cup of soup and dinner. Soups by the way were excellent. The waitress came out and told us that they were unable to cook our dinner because of a gas problem. So we ended with sushi, sashimi and a house salad. Even though we were not able to get our dinners I have too say the food was beyond excellent. The service was 200 percent. What a wonderful restaurant. Can't wait to go back and order what were not able to have today. Best of luck to this restaurant. I hope you are very successful.

Real authentic Thai food! Everything had so much flavor! I can’t wait to come back!
