“New ownership!!! Restaurant RE-opened about 1 month ago. We had a great experience here. My mom ordered the crab cakes and she loved them! She could not believe how much crab meat versus fillers! Flavor was amazing and unique red pepper sauce was delightful! My day had 6 oysters on the half shell and enjoyed every bite! He also had the grouper (real grouper) sandwich and it was juicy and so tasty! I enjoyed a unique slice of salad (cut different than traditional wedge salad) with fresh avacados, grape tomatoes, blue cheese, fresh bacon. Presentation was beautiful! Staff was informative and attentive! Glad we gave this restaurant a chance! You should too!”

“Overall not a bad experience, but the outside servers need to step up their game a bit. I let two of them know I was interested in having a drink and eating. First server handed me my a drink and a menu at the bar and didn't return to get food order. Then I moved to a table and a second server got my second beer. She also handed me a menu at my request but did not return until it was nearly finished. I had been there an hour by that point so I decided to just pay for the beer and go elsewhere to eat.”

“Specials 5 days a week are the biggest bargain on St Pete Beach. Menus is basic bar fare but great portions and ridiculously low prices. Happy hour all day long on Mondays. Semi open air bar 1/2 block from the pass. Always and I mean always packed. Very casual atmosphere almost carnival like. You cant go wrong here if you can get in!”

“I had the special waffles. They were pumpkin and very good. The service was good, and the food was vast and delicious. They gave us a pitcher of iced tea that we weren't able to finish. Strawberry preserves on the table were pretty good. Lox eggs Benedict was a ton of food, but a bit salty. Home fries were amazing with all the fixins. The eggs were cooked correctly. Bacon was nice and crispy.”

“This is a quaint little place. We had to wait just a few minutes to be seated, but not long. There were two of us, and we were seated across from each other at a big long table with several other couples. It was fine though. They were extremely busy, but the servers did an excellent job of taking care of their customers. There seem to be several locals who ate in their regularly, because you could see the employees interact very casually with them in a very familiar type of manner. The food was good, and out pretty quickly. The price was reasonable.”

Also...it's cash only, so be prepared for that. I ended up here on account of the wait at the diner around the corner. Next time I'll wait for a table there.”

The host, are they friendly and greet you with a smile and enthusiasm? During my visit Yes. 2. How long did it take to be recognized and seated? During my visit it was immediately! 3. How long did it take to be treated my the waiter or waitress? During my visit it was within 120 seconds, so that was great. 4. Was my waiter or waitress personable, friendly, enthusiastic, and overall have a great attitude? During my visit absolutely! If I could remember her name she would get a shout out! “Reviewing this establishment for what it is for me. My 11pm to 4am late night neighborhood New York style Italian dive. And it pulls it off perfectly in attitude and food quality. The Caesar with anchovies keeps me coning back as they do not skimp on the fish and the dressing is flavorful. The pizza slices also are NYC all the way. Quality cheese with the right sauce and foldable crust. Nuff said. Just stop reading this and go there! If you been to NYC, you know what to expect.”

“Sandra's is one of consistently good German restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. After more visits than I can count, I think we've tried almost everything on the menu and nothing has ever disappointed. 100% authentic. Sandra's staff is also very friendly and cheerful! Top notch! The only reason I didn't give them 5☆'s is because I really wish they had a larger draught (German) beer selection. Regardless ~ if you want a taste of Germany, right here in St. Pete Beach, you need to make a beeline to Sandra's. I do suggest calling ahead for reservations as it is a smaller restaurant and they fill up quickly and often can't take walk-ins (though this should not stop you from just stopping by in you're being spontaneous!).”

“You know what you are getting here at this greasy spoon diner. I enjoy the place for cheap eats cooked up in front of you short order style. A wonder how the cooks keep it all straight. And best part, come anytime. Day or night. Rain or snow (if it snows at this location consider yourself special). They will be open. Always open rocks. The only issue, as with all Waffle Houses. They are always cold inside. So dress warm. Even in summer!”

“We stopped on New Year’s Day @ 7pm. Decided to dine in. They were swamped with delivery orders but cooked our pizza ASAP. Awesome pizza. The next day I realized I had left my credit card. I called and YES they had my card and helped me recover. So nice to a dumb tourist like me. I love that place and my hats off to the nice ladies running it!”
