“With the name "Grits" in your name you obviously have to have Grits mastered. Well, this place does. I ordered Grit bowl. It was delicious. Portion size was big (for me) I couldn't finish it. Price was according to portion size. Staff was super friendly and kind. The restaurant over all was very clean. Bathroom was clean. Tried this place according to my G maps 3 years ago. I have a different view and lifestyle with food now. I genuinely enjoyed and truly appreciated my breakfast.”

The experience was however a Little less pleasant than normal. one of the waitresses stood about three feet from where we were sitting cleaning a coffee pot with ice and salt through our entire meal we started to get on my nerves about halfway through the meal. “Our first time there we ordered the two slices of pizza and soda for $5.00 before 4pm. The pizza arrived and noted the sauce was far away from the crust. We showed the waiter who was so polite and he said he understood and that he will mention it to the cook. The pizza was good. Went back another time thereafter and ordered same and noted the sauce was up to the crust! Very good! Same waiter and everyone was happy! Time has gone by and now I have to add a negative comment. I was trying to phone in a order and I received on end of phone " please hold" by a female.. I held and held, hung up and tried again same please hold and just put you on hold not waiting for a response from us. We were trying to order a pizza for pickup and was like 40 minutes away. We were getting closer to pizzeria and tried again please hold, I said NO and I gave her my order now we were 20 minutes away. We thought maybe they are very busy. Well, we got there. Only one couple in place. The girl seemed to be occupied talking with the male employee. We had to wait for the pizza. We spoke to the girl about her lack of communication and she laughed ..not very funny to us. I feel the owner should be made aware of her incompetent work otherwise he will lose customers. We were tired and just wanted our pizza to be ready for us to pick up. The time was about 7pm.”

“Great food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices especially the early bird daily specials. This time there I had the salmon with a sweet potato. Grilled to perfection. The menu is varied and there is something for everyone. Oh, I almost forgot, along with your entree, you get a freshly made large salad bowl which the server initially dishes out for you and freshly baked hot rolls with cinnamon butter. Hey, if you walk out of there with a full belly then Cody's has done it's job! One last note, the servers, all of them, seem to go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant experience. Try it, and I'm pretty sure you will be hooked! Remember, weekend evenings are very crowded so plan accordingly. Chow!”

“Got a large cheese pizza and 12 wings with a couple fountain drinks Saturday night for $25. The pizza was delicious, tasted kinda chewy and doughy which I loved. The wings were really tasty and savory as well. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to eat pizza. It beats all the large pizza chains in the area in my opinion. Keep it up, Jake's Pizza!”

“This venue is spectacular. I had my wedding at this venue last weekend and it was a perfect celebration. The staff and management is excellent. Cassie Thomas the sales director helped me with the wedding and was by my side every step of the way. Shes creative patient and fun to work with. Hats off to Rich as well. He was so helpful with the wedding. Wedding planning is stressful and this venue and its team made it so much easier and fun. Thanks Cassie and Rich. The golf club is very nice and the course is beautiful.”
