Tacos are a bit spicy, yuca fries with banana ketchup and aoili were DELISH, charcuterie board and Mediterranean board both had great selections and good to order for a group, empanadas were a bit heavy (they are fried though, so not unexpected) and the guac was guac so nothing groundbreaking there but it was still good! Good prices, we ordered drinks and one of everything and our tab was $175.”

“A nice location for a beer along the shoreline of then Pier. We stopped by around noon on a weekday and were promptly greeted and offered help choosing a beer. They have around 16 taps with about half IPAs and the rest an assortment of wheat, sour, stout etc. A nice selection of local beers. The pours were mostly in the $6-7 range. The venue itself is smallish but nice, and the ability to grab a beer and sip it while walking down the pier is perfect. When I'm back at the pier, I'll be back at H&P.”

“The place is usually a fun time. But ever since the remodel they moved all the dart games to the busy end or large bar area. Now that area is super cramped you can’t even throw darts without backing up into the tables. On the other hand the smaller back bar is dead. Nobody sits at that bar nor does anyone sit in all the booth seating areas in the back. Basically it’s all wasted space now! Bad move on changing the floor space layout and getting rid of all the games in the rear. Owner come by your bar and see the difference! Also if you do sit at the smaller bar you never get service or it’s always closed down! I’m scratching my head to why the deleted all the windows etc.....”

“Great “dive bar” kind of place without being grimy or gross. The staff have my drink ready without me asking and before my butt hits the seat. Ive seen every kind of person here; if a song could personify a place, it would be “I Love This Bar.” All kinds of people welcome. Karaoke every night and every level of talent welcome. Even the food can be a step above your typical bar food. The only criticism I’d have is that I wish it was bigger! Packed Friday and Saturday but great crowd.”

“Bowling alley is clean and pretty large. Moderate pricing. The arcade was a bit on the medium to small side but there's a good amount of games and they were quite fun!! I would recommend going on Mondays anytime or Weds after 6 to get an extra 10 dollar credit towards arcade games when you put in 20 bucks. You get a card that you can easily load up and use over and over again which is quite nice. Since we went on a Monday it was pretty much dead until after dinner time. So we had the place to ourselves. The food isn't great but what do you expect. The prizes for the arcade are decent as well. I really enjoyed my time. The only thing I would change is the pricing on the food and for the arcade to be a bigger component to the business. So that it's half bowling half games. Very casual and definitely will be back again.”

“Holy smokes is this place tasty! Been coming down to this area for the past four or five years and never thought about checking it out. Not sure why, but I haven't and totally regret that now. My buddy and I started off with some tamales and then got the hard shelled tacos. The tamales were incredible. He got chicken tacos I got beef and they were outstanding. The hot sauces were homemade and delicious. I'm not sure if the sour cream was homemade, regardless it was wicked tasty. Will definitely come back”

“I celebrated my 21st birthday here with my family. I thought it was so lovely. I had a reservation and arrived early while I waited to get sat the staff offered me my own private party room for my guests and I to have for dinner. I was very impressed and thought that was so classy of them to offer considering it was my birthday celebration. Every staff member was in a good mood and greeted me the bartender made me some tasty strong cocktails. The food was delicious and liked beautiful. Everything all together was awesome. The way the restaurant is set up is gorgeous. I highly recommend even just once to experience this place. They have a rooftop bar which I’ve seen pictures of but they closed it that day because it was raining. I would go back on a sunny day to check it out. It’s a bit pricy but you are also paying for the experience and the view is quite nice.”
