I've been coming here since I was a kid, being born in Lakeland makes this place a staple. Everything is incredible here and I don't think it's changed much since I was young. My go to meal is always the sampler which you get 1/4lb of each item (Ribs, Sausage, Pork, Chicken & Beef) with 3 sides and bread for $21. This meal feeds two or one very hungry person! My favorites are the sausage and the pulled pork. You cannot go wrong with any of their sides, pictured below is their new Mac N Cheese, Potato Salad and Baked Beans.

Coming from SC and love of good ribs, I stopped by Peebles. Place was an open style .Ordered the small plate and a smoked sweet potato. as well as a lemonade. The ice cold ade was great. I liked the potato and coleslaw nice and creamy, However the ribs were crispy, burnt and dry. As I checked out I saw other plates with nice juicy ribs. I guess maybe I got the end of a rack ,but rightly so I won't be back

Great little BBQ place only open Thurs., Fri., & Sat. The pulled pork and sliced beef were yummerlicious. The food came out within 5 minutes. Service was great. It's a little warm if you sit by the kitchen, but other than that, good.
