It just is. Just your average pizza shop.

Chicago style pizza toppings we're good, but I didn't care for the dough too much, and I usually prefer a deep dish pizza. Unfortunately the garlic knots, while garlicky, were burned, hard, and basically inedible. May return to try New York style pizza. We'll see.

A new place with great food.
Service was good, but needs to be more organized yet. We were happy with the experience.

First visit dining in tonight. The decor was nice; Italian scenery. The wait staff was very attentive and polite. Our waitress suggested the garlic knots; NOT disappointed!! We also ordered the large Chicago style meat lovers pizza. We decided to take that to go as it was a bit warm inside. The owner apologized. Y'all, I picked up that pizza box and it felt like it weighed a ton!! We took it home and had a slice each and there is still pizza left. Oh so good!! If y'all haven't tried Sal's, give it a go! We weren't disappointed and I don't think y'all will either!!
