Egg Haven

Okay, so if you find yourself in Winter Haven, you would do yourself a great service to have breakfast at Egg Haven. It is my Great Aunt's favorite place to go, and she is turning 100 in September. I took her there on May 5th, and the staff treated her like royalty. In her words, "Sweetie, they just make good ol' Southern Food here." And, she was right... as she always is. The grits were creamy and rich, the eggs were beautifully over easy, and the hash browns left me wanting more. Although the portions were way to big for me to finish it all. If in the Haven, do yourself a favor and eat at Egg Haven.

It is a small and cozy diner with excellent food, super fast service and good pricing.
You may have to wait a little while but its worth it.

Very comfortable and very pet friendly outdoor area available. No smokers noticed so not sure they allow them. But at least it does none of them there it's a great place to sit for an early breakfast. Nice breeze great staff

I've been coming here for years. Every time it's great. Fast service, reasonable price. Had breakfast this time. I had the country Benedict. Think eggs Benedict, but with hash instead of ham, and sausage gravy in place of hollandaise. It's a nice variation on a theme.

Food is always good. Wait is pretty quick but be prepared for a 10-15 minute wait. They are fast & good. Recommend Greek Omelette. Wait staff are busy so don't expect them to notice a glass needs refilling. They are present & will take care of business but after 1st checkback they won't be around until check time. They will be helpful when you get their attention. Food is worth it.
