“Such a great hometown diner vibe! The prices can’t be beat. We had the eggs Benedict, breakfast burrito and the two egg with one meat choice for breakfast. Everything was great. The burrito was stuffed and had great flavor. The salsa freshened up the heavy dish for sure. The eggs Benedict was cooked to perfection. Our coffee never went empty! The owners and staff are so friendly. Will have to come back to try different breakfast dishes as well as lunch and dinner!”

“This was our second visit to Texas Best Barbecue and definitely won't be our last! As a displaced Texan, I'm always looking for good brisket and this place lives up to the name! I had a sliced brisket sandwich and my wife a pulled pork sandwich and we both were delighted with our choices! My brisket sandwich was served on the perfect bun and the brisket was delicious...tender, juicy and flavorful. My wife's sandwich came on the same bun and the pork was some of the best she's had! We even ordered some to take home with us for dinner! The only down side, if you want to call it a down side, is they only take cash. Not to worry though, there's an ATM next door! If you're looking for some authentic Texas BBQ, THIS IS THE PLACE!!!”

“My mother and I went to eat dinner. We had a short wait for a table. The place is very small. The food is very good. I ordered the fish and scallops platter. I received three big pieces of fish and five very large scallops stacked on a platter filled with french fries and a side of cole slaw. The price was very reasonable for the amount of food we received. My mom ordered the fish and shrimp platter. It was as large as mine and at a similar reasonable price. The service was very friendly. I definitely recommend this place.”

“It's too bad that so few understand the Pasty - a meal neatly packaged inside a crust. Not easy to find where I live but plentiful in Michigan’s UP so finding them in Florida is remarkable. Take them home frozen, eat one (or two) in at a table or take some home for dinner. Don't miss it!”

Great out door seating with a shaded patio and fans is key. Not a large wind list but the wines they have are fairly priced and top notch. Highly recommended. The only open Mike in town for Tuesday night and the crowd is so generous.”

I absolutely loved my "classic" roll, my paper boat top sided, and half of my meat went overboard, but I salvaged it! That lobster didn't die in vein. “Wine tasting get a reservation! It's very small and every seat was reserved, inside and out. We saw multiple people turned away. Arrive early to have your choice of seats. Order an extra glass or two of wine, they had several specials. They provide a bit of bread and cheese to clense your palate between wines. But go ahead and order something as your $10 tasting fee is waived with a purchase. Plan to take your time. She visits each table with a small pour and info about the wine so it's a relaxed pace. We look forward to returning next time we are in town!”
