I had a double toasted scooped everything bagel with salmon, cream cheese, onion, capers, and lettuce. Absolutely excellent! Next time I think I'm going to ask them to put about half as much cream cheese as they usually do, but that's a personal preference not a complaint. The outside tables are very nice to sit at. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Definitely five stars.”

“NEVER HAD FRIENDLIER SERVICE AT ANY GAS STATION!!!! And what's great is, it's consistent!!! Every time I have stopped in here for some eats, some desserts, gift cards or whatever, I feel like I am treated with respect and the friendliness of these employees are just top notch. Their gas prices are usually just a tad below the competition, so that helps too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!”

“Yes, the donuts are indeed yummy. Coffee was good too. Expect to pay a premium for these donuts. If you get one donut you may not think anything of it but if you get a dozen it will add up. Think 2 times the price or more versus the popular donut chain that is everywhere. To an extent you get what you pay for of course. If they had a discount on a dozen donuts I would go more often. I'm just not the type to stop in for a donut or two. I get them for the whole family and my family is just not worth it. HaHaHa! just kidding there...but if there were a discount on a dozen they may not make as much per donut on me but without it they will earn my business much less often. Of course with that price model they may have to make more donuts and ramping up production may not be possible for this mom and pop donut shop. Just throwing it out there but if you are looking for the highest quality donut in Venice this is the place to go.”

“This Perkins is brand new, built this year. Cleanest Perkins I’ve ever been in. Went during the summer and was seated immediately. I was able to order a salad at 9am in the morning. Everyone enjoyed their food, the kids as well. I loved the fact that I could just pour myself some more hot water for my tea at anytime. Friendly staff, was very accommodating to dietary restrictions and food allergies.”

“Sandwiches were great! However the coffee was lukewarm! When leaving I tried to top off with hot coffee and hazelnut and regular was empty and only one that had coffee in it was the light coffee! Employee said it's brewing! I came home and put mine in the microwave.”

“This cute little restaurant at the west end of downtown Venice is a great breakfast or lunch choice. It's kind of a natural food diner, if that makes sense to you. In our party, three had breakfast and one opted for lunch. The egg dishes (omelettes for two of the three) were all well prepared and featured fresh vegetables. The sandwich was similarly nice, with good fresh bread and fair portions. A pleasant lunch in downtown Venice.”

I was there with a man with dementia and she went over and over all the selections and gave him a sample.
