“I used to read about places like this in old books but I must say this brings a lot of nostalgia back for my grandfather to show my nephews how it was originally started long ago. This makes for a great family photo on how hotdog carts originally looked. Not to mention those dogs are coddled like a baby by this guy I like it. I was expecting just mustard and ketchup but he’s got like 7 different toppings. Maybe more idk but I’m satisfied 5 stars for this kid.”

The pepperoni with hot honey was one of the best pizzas I've had in all of my food travels. “This place is overpriced for what it is. The Chicken Parm Sandwich was flavorful, but the chicken was thin and very dry. For $12 I expect better. The Pulled Pork was also dry, but not as flavorful - again, not worth $12. The tiny PB&J sandwich presents the best value at $3. They need to replace their take-out cartons, because ordering more than one item to go is awkward and doesn't work well. A more friendly counter person wouldn't hurt either. I'll be interested to see how long this place lasts in its current form.”

I love garlic, but this was absolutely so garlic heavy I needed 2 paper towels to soak up the grease and my whole mouth was raw from the garlic. “My experience at Door Belle Dinners has left me with the best impression! The owner Megan is absolutely passionate about the quality of ingredients and truly cares about your experience. Her facility is immaculate and organized and she takes no shortcuts in her food preparation. While I was there, she was working on her signature broth that takes eight hours to prepare and is used as a base in many of her meals. The chicken pot pie I ordered was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal! Highly recommend!”

“The Shepard's was filled with seasoned ground lamb, corn, carrots and other vegetables. Delivered in a single-serve pie tin lined with a pastry crust and topped with lightly seasoned mashed potatoes. The beef pot pie was similarly served, except with a pie crust top. The beef and vegetables were seasoned similar to a well done beef bourguignon, including a light aroma of dark red wine. Both meals are more than adequate for a single adult with an average appetite. These are excellent home cooked dishes, that hold up well when ordered for take out. The chef is very active supporting area food banks, which is greatly appreciated.”
