“Great lunch specials, and the updates to the restaurant -- formerly Cuban Oasis -- are outstanding. Great looking place... Environment makes a difference! The waiter and manager were really friendly, too. I had the Monday special, which was fried pork chops, a lentil soup, a small salad, plantains, and rice. Everything was delicious, and the pork chop had a great char to it without creating a chewy bite. I want to go back in a Wednesday, which has $5 sangrias all day.”

“It was our first visit at MA SE and right off the bat we loved the atmosphere. It’s very quaint and it’s the perfect spot to have a nice relaxing dinner. The food was phenomenal. My fiancé and I got 2 appetizers, 1 roll, and a noodle dish and everything had amazing flavor and came out perfectly fresh to order. The owner and staff were very attentive and friendly. It’s hard to find a 5 star restaurant but we will be raving about this spot to all our friends!”

“We came all the way from Pittsburgh to try the poke! It was amazing! They have a ton of choices/options for toppings and everything was super fresh. The two boys working went above and beyond to help us and explain everything. They were two of the nicest kids!! We met the owner who has a huge personality and was so great to talk to! We finished with the dole whip which was tasty as well! They change the flavors every so often and even do happy hour with them daily! Also, kids eat free on Sundays! They were 5+ stars in our book! Our only complaint, we wish he would open one in Pittsburgh!!!!”

I was very nice and told them it was my first time in and nothing was said in return. Just kind of awkward..I really wanted to like it as it was closer than some other shops and had I liked it I would have been an every day regular. Also they charge too much for a triple compared to other in town. Not bad but not great :/”

The big problem I have is that you can sit there and fill up your bladder with a mega venti coffee but you cannot use the restrooms. I know things are tough Right now, but if you feel confident enough in your cleanliness to serve food then I think you should also make a restroom available.”

“I want to give a shout out to the attendant chick with the Mohawk. Sometimes it’s the smallest act of kindness that can turn a bum day around. Long day of training at a new office job, in between paychecks, low on cash, my check engine light comes on and all I want is a pack of smokes. I get to the counter, my sad little coupon in hand but I’m $0.54 short. As the male cashier starts to ring me up, she shouts “wait!” And tosses him a pack with another $0.50 discount. I leave happy with what I came for. This simple act of consideration put me at ease and reminded me that things are about to get better. Maybe it’s silly but it turned my night around.
