The Sullivan-A Public House

The best part of The Sullivan was the bartender! He was fabulously cheeky. Sadly, I didn't get his name but he was a witty Irish fellow who recommended some good whiskey and some great Irish food. The bar wasn't super busy but it was nice because you could hear the lovely music. This restaurant/bar was gorgeous! The bar shelving was so intricate and ornate, the ceilings were pressed tin, and it had these adorable little rooms where you could squeeze about 5 or 6 of your best mates in for more intimate evening or to hide your raucous good time. We had Guiness battered onion rings, shepherd's pie, and bangers and mash. Honestly, the food was some of the best I've had in quite a while. I highly recommend and hopefully, you'll have the outstanding Irish bartender because though the food and drink were fantastic, he truly made the whole experience.

Went for a night out celebrating birthdays with friends. The entire staff was amazing and treated like old friends. Can't wait to return!

Lovely spot. Opened Oct 2018. Thoughtfully decorated, and as another reviewer said "not cluttered". Barkeep was knowledgeable, attentive and FAST.. Has a lot of makings to be something special.. Hope they do well!!

My wife and I had an evening out without the kids and blindly gave this place a try after a recommendation. Always wished Sanford would get a true pub back after years without, so happy we stopped in. The black velvet was poured perfectly and the atmosphere was warm and inviting with all the wood, makes you want to listen to music and talk with friends for hours. I also got the rover as it sounded different and the flavor combos were amazing. The chips, fries, were perfectly done. Thank you so much for an amazing place, see you again soon.

Great food and drink options! My friends and I sat in the super neat little room by the bar. I had a lovely roast beef sandwich with fries and the Bailey’s cheesecake for dessert. I think the chocolate sauce is where the Bailey’s flavor is, and the whipped cream might have a tiny coconut flavor to it?

I highly recommend The Sullivan!
