“My husband and I went Wednesday afternoon, sat at the Bar, and the service was great. We had 3 bartenders who were all good but Dorian stood out for us. He was super knowledgeable and friendly and we truly enjoyed our time there. He is awesome!! We went after lunch and before dinner cause we know other times during week 1 will be crazy busy. People who are giving bad reviews on the first week, clearly don’t get new restaurant openings. It’s going to be crazy and the wait will be high. It’s new and the staff is new to that volume of business. Cut them some slack. This place has some great food and great service. They are just getting started!! We had a great time, enjoyed it and will be back. So happy to have you in our neighborhood!!”

“Wonderful experience! Quite literally the very best wings and fried chicken I have EVER eaten. I love a crisp skin, this was perfectly cooked. Not chewy at all! Very light coating packed with flavor. The spicy is spicy! The sweet was my absolute favorite. The coleslaw is AWESOME. Excellent customer service, very friendly. A new restaurant, so I hope this place maintains its level of quality in both food and service. Great seating options. Wonderful bar. Amazing chicken. We will be back! “This is very simple. Salsas at Palencia is the best Mexican restaurant In the entire state of Florida. I went for dinner with my family and we were simply speechless at the taste of “La tabla Loca” A board of assorted meats that is simply DELICIOUS. The taste of the food as up to pair with the cozy environment and the friendliness of the staff. I’ll be looking forward to come back to Salsas at Palencia, many times in the future. We went upstairs to the “ghost bar”, didn’t see anything, but it is definitely creepy up there. Overall, excellent restaurant and the food is spectacular. Try the onion rings, best I ever had!!”

“Excellent food and excellent staff. Waitress Elizabeth was one of the best servers I’ve ever had and she made the whole experience. My father had the meatloaf sandwich which he loved and my mother had the Cuban Sandwich and she said it was delicious. I had the beef and veggies that was sautéed and was blown away with how good it was. Also liked the 150 Salad.”

“I’m giving this 5 stars because I’m obsessed with pretzels and cheese sauce. It’s my favorite snack food to buy. The pretzel itself was delicious and did not have too much salt. It was buttery and thick, but that’s how I like mine, I don’t like mine almost burnt. They have a pretty good menu with a lot to choose from, according to other reviews, they have great hot dogs which I might give a try the next time I stop by. It took a minute to get the pretzel but it’s because it was being cooked fresh and it was well worth it.”

“You can park for $10 next to the restaurant and enjoy great food and service. After you can walk around the historic district. The staff were friendly and helpful. They took the time to answer our questions and recommend dishes. We had the Shrimp and Grits and Cornbread Stack with Flounder. Both were delicious! We followed up with the amazing caramel drizzled apple pie with whipped cream on top. Unforgettable experience!”

“This was easily the best meal we had in a week in St. Augustine, and actually one of the best brunch meals we've had ever. The menu is full of such interesting options, it was hard to choose. We actually ended up getting three meals between the two of us because it was so hard to pick. The hipster toast, strata, and chicken biscuit with gravy were all amazing and elevated beyond the typical breakfast spot. The restaurant decor is downright beautiful. I can see why they are also an event space. Music was great, staff was happy to be there, overall it was just a really good experience. Highly recommend it.”
