“This is one of those places where I could eat anything on the menu. It was recommended to us by my son who had eaten here a couple of times. We are always looking for something different and this place fit the bill. We were warmly greeted immediately when we came to the door. The menu has a good selection of food items and beverages. We ordered a couple of cappuccinos and they came out perfect. For breakfast we ordered the French toast sticks, Maplewood bacon, and quiche. Which interesting here is that the food is served on a charcuterie board. The presentation did not disappoint, and the food had an excellent taste all around. Realistically, we could’ve ordered two or the three of the items and still had plenty of food. I could see coming here with friends and ordering a couple of boards and sharing the food. It’s unique experience here. Staff was great, food was great and ambience warm and friendly.”

“We pulled in on a whim because we were in need of a sweet baked treat! We were welcomed by a friendly mother and son duo who helped guide us through their baked confectionary goods. Their shop is quaint and cute! We tried several cupcakes and they were ok. I would not go back for the cupcakes, but they were a good frosting to cake ratio if you like a good buttercream! What is going to bring us back is the cookie sandwiches! OMG! We really liked all the cookies; chocolate chip, peanut butter, and oatmeal. Then slap two of them together with a layer of buttercream goodness and you my friend have elevated a good cookie to Mount Olympus status! “Everything we had was delicious and fresh. We even found the prices to be decent considering you are on St. George St. The turnovers in particular were amazing! Very flaky crusts with generous filling. We loved both the sweet potato and the guava and would highly recommend. The sandwiches are pretty simple, but it’s the bread that made all the difference. Enjoyed the food so much that we went back to get some goodies for our drive the next day. Even a day old we still enjoyed the Empanadas and the turnovers, much better than any fast food you can get on the road!”
