Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Simple, basic, BBQ place. The counter service was fine, of course we were two of five customers at the time. The food was good, being our first time to try them I got the Trio - three smaller meat portions, pulled pork (dry), chopped Brisket (flavorful, tender) and one Rib (flavorful, tender) All the meats were barely warm though and were cold before I finished them. I got baked beans (average) and potato salad (average). As with most strip-mall type restaurants, the small dining area, tables were bear of condiments, everything on a counter. Overall for me, an okay place to eat however, locally I still prefer Oakwood Express BBQ in Wildwood.

Dickey's offers great BBQ, reasonably priced, in a fun, casual atmosphere. The pulled pork was very tasty and not fatty at all. I had waffle fries, and BBQ beans for sides. Both were very good, I will definitely have them again.The staff was helpful and very friendly. You can choose indoor or outdoor seating.

Let me start by saying everyone that works in here is very friendly and will bend over backwards to make you happy. I have been here almost every day they have been open. I work in same plaza and have worked in The Village's for 15 years. Me and my co-workers have tried everything on the menu. All have been amazing, I am very picky when it comes to Brisket and Ribs, They Are Both Amazing moist and very tender. Side Items have been very good also. The portion sizes are weighed out and they remove fat from meat before weighing. It is quality food and cook everyday fresh. If everyone would just have a little patience because they are new and everyone wants to try it.
