The Mermaid Cafe

Awesome place! Awesome food. Great service. The people were really nice. The style and theme is super cool except for one thing: the music. The depressing country music killed the whole vibe for me and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. If they played great music I’d give em 5 stars for sure

The Mermaid Cafe not only stands out for its beautiful decor and wonderful food but the service and and hospitality is unlike any other. Every time I have come here with my toddler they have made her experience memorable. You MUST try The Mermaid Cafe if you come to New Smyrna Beach. Grab some brunch and enjoy it on their front porch or take some beignets to go and enjoy them on the beach.

We visited The Mermaie Cafe and it was amazing. We were there early afternoon. They were running out of things but still very accommodating. Cindy who helped us was great with making sure we were happy and she was helpful with tips for the area as we are on vacation.
The beignets are to die for!!

Everything was delicious! I was so excited that they have breakfast burritos and it was the best one I’ve ever had! I love that they put hash browns in the burrito instead of home fries. The biggest bonus was they serve mimosas, which is a must in NSB. We will be back for sure!

Came across Mermaid Cafe as Third Wave restaurant was not seating even though it was 1:40 ( closes at 2pm). The French toast is like home. The beignets were hot with fresh fruit. The chicken and waffles (which I haven’t had in years) were hot and flavorful. But what was most welcome were the family that owns and operates the Mermaid Cafe. Beautiful people, nice and accommodating, from the grandson to the grandfather. Come to New Smyrna Beach and have a tasty of home with family hospitality.
